2002 Triumph Daytona (2002)
JUMPIN’ UNION JACK FLASH This Lockhart Philips USA Triumph Turbo project bike was commissioned by Triumph America and Lockhart-Philips in 2002. The bike was custom built from a new frame to maximize performance in all areas of handling, acceleration and braking. The end result is astounding. This Turbo Triumph was featured in the March 2002 Cycle World magazine and developed a worldwide following. It has been on display at the Luguna Seca Moto GP, Indy Trade Show and many California Sportbike events. The bike has 4360 careful miles and has been ridden by Dan Gurney, Brian Catterson, Wendell Phillips (of Lockhart-Phillips) and Triumph executives. The incredible paint design and application was done by well known California Moto-artist Aaron Hager, son of rock legend Sammy Hagar. The bike has the best of everything: Phillips enlisted Will Tate of the California Speed Shop to co-ordinate the build. Tate brought in Brian Olson of Turbo Connection for the turbo-charge engineering and components; the custom Turbo Connection exhaust is finished off with a very cool custom tri-tip end cap. Suspension was improved with a single sided swing arm, four-point shock linkage, triple-clamps and rear sets from Attack Racing based on their experience racing Daytona’s in AMA Pro Series. Penske shock, RaceTech modified fork with Progressive springs, ultra light Marvic Penta magnesium wheels, Brembo front brakes, custom billet parts and every carbon-fiber component from the Lockhart-Phillips Catalog. See the Cycle World (attached in listing) article for more detail. The Tate-designed “Cadillac” tail-fin with LED is a work of art. Finishing everything off is the Union Jack paint scheme by Aaron Hagar depicting the Union Jack which seems to be liquefied at the front, displayed in full on the tank and fragments towards the aft end as it turns into a checkered flag. The bike has been stored in a climate controlled space and is nearly perfect. There are minor professional paint touch-ups below wheel height on the right hand side that don’t show in photos but a concourse judge would find them. Bike has brand new Dunlap Sport-Max tires and a new battery. Also included in the sale is an original copy of Cycle World magazine with the article.2016-06-17 05:01:50Gloucester, Massachusetts, United States412,500.00

2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Review – First Ride
Fri, 06 Dec 2024The sportiest modern classic continues to push the performance envelope Photos by Triumph Motorcycles. Selling 20,000 units since its reintroduction in 2019, the Speed Twin had once topped the charts as Triumph’s best selling model before being unseated by the likes of the excellent standard Trident 660, and now the equally impressive TR400 machines. For 2025, the Speed Twin 1200 not only gets enhanced electronics by way of an IMU and slight styling upgrades, but is also now joined by a pointedly sport-focused RS model that ups the ante of what a modern classic is capable of.

2024 Triumph Speed 400 & Scrambler 400 X Review – First Ride
Mon, 26 Feb 2024Two new lightweights that deliver vastly different experiences The folks in Hinckley have been busy in recent years bolstering Triumph’s reputation as a two-wheeled powerhouse of tech and performance. In the past six months or so, however, it’s also been releasing new models across its product line and entering highly competitive segments that are new to the British marque in the modern era. 2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200 Review – First Ride
Mon, 22 Jan 2024Minor revisions for the XE with a big step forward in approachability for the X Photos Courtesy of Triumph Motorcycles Triumph is, arguably, the manufacturer who brought scrambler styling back into the limelight nearly 20 years ago now. For many of those years, it was just that, a styling exercise to capitalize on the classic cool that scramblers imbue. It wasn’t until the end of 2018 that Triumph stepped up its scrambler game in a way that truly harkened back to what the desert sleds of yore were used for – scramblin’ off the beaten path.

Fri, 12 Jan 2024Upgrades for All Since its launch in 2020, Triumph’s Tiger 900 platform has been impossible to keep out of the middleweight ADV conversation. With 45,000 sold to date, Triumph clearly didn’t need to reinvent the wheel with its 2024 models, but there are a few key revisions across both the Tiger 900 GT and Rally Pro models that really make them shine even brighter on and off road. After arriving in Malaga, Spain, Triumph sat us down for a brief presentation to tell us all about the new updates for 2024.
