Triumph Daytona description

You'll see the reason why I am selling in the photos behind the bike; just purchased a new car so I need to pay off some debt. :) Photos are from today after I took quick ride. I will do my best to describe any scuffs or other imperfections. This motorcycle is in great mechanical condition.
  • 24,000 miles currently; purchased at 21,374
  • Clear title; clean vehicle history report (upon request)

Vehicle History:

I purchased this motorcycle on eBay on February, 4th 2016 from a seller in South Florida who owns his own fabrication shop. He's the type that gets bored quickly and added a few interesting farkles to this bike to make it unique:
  • Custom one-off headlight
  • Custom solo seat cowl
  • Custom sprocket guard (bike left)
  • Custom overflow valve (bike left)
  • Full Titanium Arrow Exhaust System
  • New front OEM rotors
  • Dual stainless front brake line kit
  • Sprocket ratio: smaller front, larger rear
  • New Battlax BT023 tires front & rear
The headlight was made from the original hi-beam lamp and provides great night-time visibility. The solo seat cowl, sprocket guard, and overflow valve were fabricated and installed by the previous owner from aluminum.

Description of Flaws / Damage:
  • Small scratches on right side of the bike
  • Small paint chips on left and right side of air filter bracket
  • Fork seals need replacement

FAQ:

Has the bike ever crashed?
  • A.) No, however there are small scuffs on the right side of the bike from being tipped over.

Will this bike pass vehicle inspection?
  • Yes it has working lights, turning signals, brake lights, license plate lights and reflectors.
How is the night time visibility, that headlight looks funky?
  •  The visibility is quite good actually since the headlight uses a hi-beam and the yellow tint makes it not too intense for other drivers yet throws a big spread of light.

  • Passenger rear-sets not installed with the solo seat cowl.
Why are you selling?

2013 Triumph Trophy SE Recalled for Center Stand Problem

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

Triumph is recalling 2013 Trophy SE models because of a risk of fracture in its center stand mount. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the left side center stand lug may fracture, reducing the amount of weight the stand can support. Triumph discovered the problem during a quality control audit.

2011-2012 Triumph Daytona 675 and Street Triple Recalled in Canada for Unapproved Wheel Bearings

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Triumph has issued a recall for the Canadian market for the 2011-2012 Daytona 675 and Street Triple because the wheel bearings were provided by an unapproved supplier. At the moment, the recall is only for Canada and no recall has been announced for the U.S. market.

Get your suspension set up, do it now!

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

Things are coming along nicely in the Speed Triple camp. I’ve finally removed my gaffa tapped heated jacket controls from the tank, and fitted a pair of Bridgestones sticky but durable BT-16’s. Last week a huge box full of R&G crash protection stuff arrived so that will be fitted at the weekend for peace of mind, just as well really because the Triumph now feels like a finely tuned scratcher thanks to a recent new discovery.
