Triumph Daytona description

Very nice and fast bike, get a lot of compliments on paint job. Does have two scuffs one on each side of engine casing and the radiator shroud has a broken clip... both are easy and inexpensive fixes. Overall runs great, starts up every time and as i said before it is very fast and handles great.  No aftermarket parts everything is original except for paint job.

From the wire wheels, the minimal bodywork, and the exposed engines which give off a thunderous bark, I’ve always loved looking at old Triumphs, BSAs and the like from the 60s.  I’ve never owned one though. The reason is simple: old British bikes are needy little maintenance machines notorious for the odd oil leak.

Fri, 07 Jun 2013

A recent recall announced for the 2013 Triumph Trophy and Trophy SE for a potential fuel leak has now expanded to the U.S. The recall, previously announced by Transport Canada, concerns a production error for the fuel tank of the affected units. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the two layers used in the construction of the fuel tank may not properly adhere to each other, resulting in a potential fuel leak.

2013 Triumph Trophy Spy Photos

Wed, 22 Feb 2012

Spanish magazine Motociclismo has acquired photos of what it says will be a new 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 sport-tourer. According to Motociclismo, the 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 uses many of the same components as the recently launched Triumph Tiger Explorer, including its 1215cc inline Triple engine and shaft drive. The Trophy 1200 will likely also get traction control and ABS like the Tiger Explorer, as well as touring-oriented niceties such as an adjustable windscreen, heated grips, panniers and cruise control.
