Seller is 70 yrs old & the original titled owner with original title, bill of sale, & New Triumph Owners Letter. Unique Higher Handle Bar installed @ purchase on June 5,1970 from Bill Carpenter Motor Sales, Lancaster,Ohio.
$4000 Refurbishing/Restoration done in 2003-2003 by Ron Jones @ Stark Triumph,Navarre, Ohio. Bike has been garaged & unstarted since 2005 but engine turned over w kick starter approx.every 3-6 weeks. Seller is not mechanically knowledgeable but known flaws are: oil leak, both carbs leak, torn left front fork rubber covering, discolored paint @ base of Tank's filler neck, small paint chip on underside of Tank. The TT800 From Deus Ex Machina
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.
