Up for sale is a 2006 GSXR 600 with less than 2,000 original miles.I Purchased this off an older person who never rode it. I'm looking to purchase a newer model therefore I'm selling it. The bike needs nothing, its basically all stock except for the shorty levers that I recently replaced, I still have stock levers as well. Bike has frame sliders. Never been laid down or dropped but does have a scuff by the mirror on left side, and a small crack on right side fairing, please check the pics. Also few minor scratches on tail fairings, other than that bike is very nice. I'm selling this locally and reserve the right to end auction. Piaggio, Suzuki Hit with Fines by CARB
Mon, 01 Apr 2013The California Air Resources Board has agreed to settlements with Suzuki and Piaggio for selling motorcycles that the companies did not disclose could be modified to exceed the state’s strict emission standards. Suzuki was hit with the larger of the two penalties, agreeing to a fine of $3,020,000, though the amount could be reduced by $1,812,000 if Suzuki follows certain provisions. The penalty is in addition to the previous fine of $885,000 levied by the Environmental Protection Agency for selling 25,396 LT-R450 ATVs and 62 RMX450Z dirtbikes with a racing map programmed into their ECUs that was not certified or tested. This racing map is not initially accessible to customers, unless they buy aftermarket devices to unlock the higher-performance engine mapping.

Mon, 07 May 2012It was supposed to be a weekend of celebration. The World Superbike Championship was celebrating its 25th anniversary of racing at Italy’s Monza circuit. Promoters Infront Motorsports brought out 30 landmark Superbikes from the series’ history, while greats such as Fred Merkel, Doug Polen and Carl Fogarty were in attendance for what was supposed to be a weekend to remember.
