This auction is for a very mechanically sound 1984 Honda VF1000 Interceptor. Tires are two seasons old with about 2000 miles on them.  New brake and clutch hoses.  Pads and chain are in good shape.  Upgraded rear shock with remote gas reservoir.  F1 exhaust installed, the OE exhaust and tool kit also come with bike.  I am the third owner, and have had it just under a year.  In that time I put 2000 miles on the bike, all trouble free.  In a single weekend I put about 800 miles on, traveling both Interstate and winding mountains.  The motorcycle performed great.   I would ride this bike any distance with no hesitation.  I am selling to make room in the garage - too many toys.  The bike is cosmetically nice aside from the normal wear associated with a 30 year old vehicle, and a small dent in the gas tank.  She is not a museum piece but is a very good ride ready bike.    I would prefer to handle this transaction face to face, but if you hire a shipper I will roll it to the end of the driveway for them.  A deposit of $500 is due at the end of the auction.  Balance due before pickup.  Funds must be clear in my hand before title transfer.    

         Here is a very correct and original 1972 Sportster XLH in excellent          cosmetic and mechanical condition.This Sportster was entered          in a Antique Motorcycle Club Of America national meet at Denton          N.C.and received a first place award on May 19, 2013. The carb.          was rebuilt the week before the show along with a new battery.

Condition This is a wonderful bike that is made for touring while carrying a passenger.  I have a complete maintenance history.  This bike has not been wrecked or layed down.  There are some minor scratches but nothing that adversely affects the looks of this wonderful bike.  This bike is quite simply the best bike I have ever owned (I work too much now and never have time to ride).
