Offered for sale is this very early BMW R50. This bike still has the early spoke pattern aluminum wheels that look more like the late plunger twin R68 / R67 / R51 models. And according to the parts book, this vin should still have them.

I AM RELUCTANTLY OFFERING MY VERY ORIGINAL 1956 R50 BMW. I BOUGHT IT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER MANY YEARS AGO AND HAVE KEEP IT JUST ABOUT THE WAY I GOT IT. THE BIKE WAS BUILT IN 1956 AND IS REGISTERED AS A 1957. I DID INSTALL THE LARGE TANK, HEADLIGHT MIRRORS, NEW STEERING BEARINGS AND SIGNAL LIGHTS.
