Developed by heavyweight designer Massimo Tamburini and Claudio Castiglioni, the director of MV Augusta, the F4CC will be the most expensive and limited sportbikes made so far. Parts for the bike will be 90% hand crafted out of titanium and carbon fiber, only 100 vehicles will be produced which will feature a 200 hp, 1078 cc engine with a top speed of 195 mph and a Curb weight of 412 lbs. An Open Letter from Giovanni Castiglioni on his father Claudio and MV Agusta

MV Agusta’s Giovanni Castiglioni sent out the following open letter, speaking of his father, the late Claudio Castiglioni, and his battle against illness, as well as how the company will continue along the path Claudio had set. I am writing you this letter to personally thank you for the outpouring of affection that you have demonstrated both towards my father and our family. All of you have come to know Claudio, but I believe that I knew him more intimately than anybody else as he was more than a father to me, he was also my best friend, business partner, reference point and the person whom I could call on at anytime, day or night, to share both good and bad news.

MV Agusta Brutale California with … um … Wood Vibrations

MV Agusta has revealed a new one-off special edition model by Italian architect and designer Simone D’Auria called the Brutale California. Based on a 2012 MV Agusta Brutale 1090 R, the California model is clad in carbon fiber with D’Auria’s signature timber-inspired wood pattern, a style he calls “Wood Vibrations“. This isn’t the first time D’Auria has designed a wood-inspired carbon-fiber Brutale California for MV Agusta.
