kawasaki 1000 kz1000 E1 ST project bike texas title japan made bike 1979 shaft (1979)
1979 kz1000 E1 ST has 48667 on odometer , frame is KZT00E006122 , 1015cc motor is KZT00EE006171 , frame sticker says made in Japan CLEAR TEXAS TITLE Exhaust is original and both look pretty good there is some stains but see no rust outs on them, brakes front master cylinder does not work , rear master cylinder works front dual disc brakes and single rear disc brake motor does kick over with some compression I did not really mess with it much carbs the choke does move and slides move up and down with throttle gas tank has rust inside but think you could flush it with few bolts inside and it will clean up pretty good to just run a filter and not cream it. there is couple small dents no bigger then a dime as shown in pictures, emblem holes filled in left side cover is in good shape with seat lock cover in place, emblem holes filled in right side cover has crack at top front push pin mount could repair that area since it is corner it will repair well, emblem holes filled in electrical looks to need little attention keys ignition , seat fork lock , there is no keys to bike , ignition has been removed but I do have it. ( NO KEYS ) but there is Good Title for bike wheels look in pretty good shape seat looks okay but pan is starting to rust out good enough to use until you either decide to repair it or get another, cover looks okay I will hold it for couple weeks, help load it if shipper comes to pick it up.2013-10-21 00:14:22Alvarado, Texas, US48,667750.00 -

1978 Kawasaki KZ1000, I have owned this bike since 1994, nearly 30 years. I have decided to sell because I don't ride it at all anymore and someone should enjoy this bike. It has sat unused for too long and needs to appreciated by a new owner. I have set a reserve that is very reasonable when considering all the extra parts you are getting. I had the bike tuned and running last summer, rode it 2X's and it has been sitting since. I tried to start bike yesterday, battery was dead, I tried kick starting it for about 15 minutes and gave up. I am done with messing with it. It will run with very little effort. I am selling a huge collection of parts with the bike as well. Everything goes as a package deal. Many original parts are included in sale. Bike comes with nearly all the parts to put it back to showroom stock if you choose to go that route except, handlebars, exhaust, and air cleaner. Bike is mainly stock with some bolt-ons: Vance and Hines exhaust, Dyna Ignition and coils, K&N Air filters, Braided Steel brake Lines, Corbin seat, etc. Engine internals are stock: only 19K miles on engine. I am positive of it. Bike is complete. It is painted with a very deep purple PPG custom color. looks black until you get it into sunlight, then you can see the candy color. Bike currently has spoked wheels on it, but comes with aluminum mag-style wheels. One of the rear wheels is from a Police KZ1000 and worth a few $$$'s. Included in the extra parts list: :KZ1000 Plaque, foot brake assembly, kick stand, center stand, turn signal assembly, original rear fender, shifter levers, brake levers, headlight housing, mirror, front fork stabilizer, ignition cover, rear shocks, extra fuel tank, side covers, 2 original style seats: one totally original flat seat/original stitching/perfect condition, another stepped original seat that was re-upholstered., 2 sissy bars, oil cooler, chrome bolt kits, 3 sprockets, chain guard, 3 mag style wheels- 1 front, 2 rear, Top-end of engine assy: cylinder bores, cylinder head, 6 carbs, cams, valves and springs, etc all fasteners, these have been taken apart in a "semi-organized" manner and bagged No damage to bores. There is NOT a crank or rods here. The photos show quite clearly what is included. If you have any questions, let me know. Mon, 10 Apr 2023Traction control and updated instruments expected The California Air Resources Board has issued an executive order for what we expect to be an updated Kawasaki Z650RS for the 2024 model year. The update is expected to be relatively minor, adding traction control to the Z650RS. The update would bring the retro RS model in line with the more modern-styled Z650 and the Ninja 650, both of which were updated with traction control for 2023, as well as the Versys 650 which received traction control in 2022.
