Kawasaki H1 description
1971 Kawasaki H1 Mach III 500cc Two stroke triple cylinder. This bike is 85% complete with bill of sale. It'll make a great restoration project or radical 70's screamer. Bike is better then pictured. ( I'm not a photographer, haha) I bought this bike from the same guy as the titled 1972 H2 listed in another auction, I have a bill of sale in his name. It was last plated in Washington state ( original Longview, WA bike ) . Kicks over freely with good compression. This bike has also been repainted and had some 70's era cosmetic mods, such as long fork tubes ( frame NOT cut! ), head light, seat/pan, tail cowl and handle bars. I'm sure with a little elbow grease you'd get this guy fire up in no time. The guy I bought it from drove it into a barn and parked it after getting a DUII on it. ( I can't imagine being drunk on a triple! Don't try that at home guys, haha) I'm selling off my triples because I just don't have the time to dedicate to them and I'd like to see them go to someone that'll get them back terrorizing the street, scaring dogs and killing plant life! Please check out my other auctions for more Kawasaki triples. I have two H2 750 Mach IV for sale Bike is located in Portland, Oregon and is being sold as is, where is, no warranty or return. You can come get it and I'll help you load it up. You can also use a shipping service. * I will not create this bike up and drive it anywhere * Thank you |

Community Tip: How to Shave your Motorcycle Seat
Thu, 30 Jul 2009Motorcycle communities are a huge resource for any kind of project or help you might need. It’s incredible the amount of stuff people post and the effort they put into it! arturo3rd on Kawiforums.com posted some great tips and photos on how to shave down your motorcycle seat for a more comfortable ride. Things you’ll need: flat screwdriver pliers sharp knife(steak) rough grit sand paper staple gun I’m unsure if all motorcycle seats are made of the same material so be wary before you start if your motorcycle isn’t a Kawasaki.
EICMA 2013: 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 First Impressions Video
Tue, 05 Nov 2013“It looks kind of angry!” That pretty much sums up what Editor-in-Chief Kevin Duke thinks of Kawasaki‘s newly redesigned Z1000 and its “sugomi” design philosophy. And for those of you who feel turned off by today’s machines and their dependance on the latest electronics, Kawasaki says the Z1000 does not have traction control because they want to keep it raw and untamed. Behind The Scenes: The Making Of the Ninja ZX-6R vs The Isle of Man Video
Fri, 15 Feb 2013You may remember last fall’s release of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R was accompanied by a mind-blowing short video commercial of a rider screaming around the 37.33-mile Isle of Man TT course aboard the new 636 Ninja. Now, Team Green has just released a “Making Of” video about the production of that video, featuring TT star James Hillier. This behind-the-scenes short film shows the crew capturing Hillier as he passes within millimeters of the camera. You’ll see the camera-equipped pursuit bike racing side-by-side with Hillier, as well as the aerial heli-cam.
