KTM Adventure description

Putting my 2016 690 KTM Enduro R up for sale. The bike was purchased in Kansas, in May of 2016. After several friends purchased Harley's this summer, I have followed suit. As much as I'd like to keep both...

The bike is really close to new. There are a couple scuffs on the shrouds, and on the fender. All from riding it through some trees out west. From 6 feet away, the bike looks new! The knobby tires have been changed to Shinko's, which are more suited for pavement. The stock tires only have 400 miles on them, and will be included with the sale. A hitch mounted bike carrier is also going to be included. This made hauling the bike very convenient. I hauled it from Kansas to Michigan at highway speeds with not one issue to mention. The passenger pegs, grab handles, manuals, and factory toolkit are included. The stock mirrors have been replaced with small stick on type. The rear view is clear and convenient.

These sell for $10,500, plus a $500 assembly and $500 freight charges. Bringing the total to $11,500 plus taxes! Save yourself a couple grand by winning this auction! You will not be let down by the condition. The bike is financed, so the buyer and I will need to work out payment with the credit union. This will be a simple process.

Thank you for looking at my auction. Please, forward any questions along. I'll respond as quickly as possible!

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Wed, 08 Dec 2010

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

Sheepish Maverick Vinales Returns to Blusens, Issues Apology

Tue, 23 Oct 2012

A contrite Maverick Vinales has returned to the Blusens Avintia Moto3 team days after his brash, and admittedly hasty departure at this past weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix. The FTR Honda rider quit the Blusens team on Oct. 10, returning home from Sepang without once hitting the track.

KTM revealed its new 250cc four-stroke engine that will be used in the Moto3 World Championship which is set to replace the 125cc class in 2012. The single cylinder engine is all new and not a repurposed motor from KTM‘s 250cc offroad engine portfolio and is said to weigh just 55 pounds. Official specs were not released, but Moto3 regulations dictate a maximum bore of 81mm, a rev limit of 14,000rpm.
