YOU ARE VIEWING A 1999 HONDA Z50R. MY AUNT BOUGHT THIS NEW FOR HER GRANDKIDS TO RIDE WHEN THEY CAME TO VISIT.THIS IS THE LAST YEAR THAT HONDA MADE THE Z50. IT IS ALL ORIGINAL INCLUDING THE TIRES, BUT DOES HAVE NORMAL SCRATCHES. THERE ARE NO DENTS IN THE GAS TANK AND NO BREAKS IN THE PLASTIC OR TEARS IN THE SEAT. IT RUNS GREAT AND DOES NOT SMOKE OR LEAK OIL. I CAN NOT TELL YOU EXACTLY HOW MANY HOURS IS ON THIS BIKE, BUT I WOULD SAY NOT A WHOLE LOT. Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class
Mon, 07 Jan 2013The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.
Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show
Wed, 30 Nov 2011We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.
