Here we have a well used example of the legendary RD04 Africa Twin, just freed from its shipping container. Aesthetically this bike is a bit rough, though the Honda colors show well. It's not a bad looking machine, it's just that you'll likely enjoy it more blasting down fire roads than looking at it amongst a motorcycle collection. Visually, there are plenty of things to nitpick. With that said, this bike runs very well, and I wouldn't hesitate to take it to Latin America if I needed to. The M1 had been more of an engineering exercise to see what could be achieved with the available technology of the day and it is possible that the GL1500 engine designers drew some inspiration from the earlier work.
