This is a really nice example of an original vintage pit bike made by Honda, this is a 1970 and it was the first year they made the QA50 model. Despite the small size of this bike, it's pretty quick and a lot of fun to ride for the kids and even for adults! This bike has 2 selectable gears when riding with an automatic clutch, the bike starts very easily with 1-2 kicks and idles very smooth. The bike was recently serviced and is ready for your family to ride!

THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! This auction is for a REALLY sweet 1970 Honda Z50A Mini Trail, VIN 307174. This is not a perfect museum piece, but HAS been painstakingly restored with lots of TLC. To start with, the engine has been totally rebuilt (bored first over, new piston and rings, valve job, automatic clutch totally gone through and adjusted, new points, engine cases and head beadblasted, all new seals and gaskets, etc) by a factory trained Honda mechanic with over 40 years of experience. You will actually have to BREAK THIS ENGINE IN (Iâ€™ve put about 10 minutes on the bike since rebuild)! The following have been replaced with either NOS or reproduction parts: steering bearings, seat (a stencil is included if you want to add the HONDA logo), wheel bearings, fork gaiters and bushings, wiring harness, front brake cable, front tire, rear brakes, headlight bulb, battery and strap, spark plug, drive chain, kickstand, dimmer switch, and of course, fresh oil. The following HARD TO FIND original parts are still on this bike: air cleaner, complete headlight and taillight assemblies, gas tank badges, chainguard, exhaust heat shield, battery box and rectifier, and factory muffler assembly. Mechanically, brakes work very well, automatic clutch is excellent, gearbox shifts great all through three gears, all lights work. Carb was completely rebuilt, bike starts on first or second kick and idles nicely. Cosmetically, there is some minor wear and tear, as to be expected â€“ call it PATINA.

The mini has been on display in his man cave for many years, all fuel was drained, I did notice the inside of the tank has been kreemed and it is lifting, will need to be redone or cleaned out. This bike is 43 years old ,it does have some issues ,the exhaust has a break in it ,the shifter has a bolt welded to it , the kick start shaft broke outside the cover,you can get a visegrip on it to use still turns over JUST PUSH STARTED IT ABOUT 10 FEET STARTS RIGHT UP,the headlight plug is there but has no lenses.
