Honda Intercepter 750F (1985)
I bought this bike last spring without a title to see if I could make it run. After about 40 plus hours between my metric bike mechanic and me, we got it running. I went up the street and back down. The tank is rough on the inside and I am done with it. It's time to let it go. I can run the motor by jumping from the battery. I bought a bank of carbs bench synced, and then synced on the bike. I have the original carbs partially torn apart from the previous owner. The seat has a 2 inch tear, but I have all the other particulars up and working on this bike. It has some rust. I picked it up from coastal Carolina. It was last registered in either Florida or North Carolina. I couldn't get the previous owner to get me the title. Ask any questions. There is no reserve. This was the first production bike to go 150 mph. That seems slow by today's standards, but this was the fastest bike money could buy in 1984.I bought this particular bike in Long Beach, CA in 2014. I brought it with me to North Carolina when I moved here. I left it sitting when I went overseas. The bike is complete, but not running. The carbs will have to be sunk and the bike will need a battery. I imagine this bike will have collector appeal to some but not others. No reserve. This bike has started to turn into a classic, the list price on NADA has gone up every year for the last 3 years for all conditions and I expect that to continue. The bike runs great, although it takes a few minutes to properly warm up and probably could use a tune up (the last one I performed was two years ago) and needs a new battery. Unfortunately I do not have the time at this point to ride and maintain it properly. The bike looks great at a glance but it has its fair share of dents, chips, cracks and touch up paint. The gas tank has a dent and is about 1/3 poorly applied touch up paint. Front tire is near new back tire has a fair amount of wear. The miles are all original, frame is solid has never been in an accident, the years I rode I took good care of it. The bike is missing the bottom fairings. Title is clean, I have at least one of the owners manual, along with the tool kit that originally came inside the bike. Overall the bike is in good shape for the age. The new CL brings back a nameplate Honda used in the 60s and 70s for lightweight off-road capable motorcycles. The modern interpretation draws on that heritage with the upswept muffler with stainless steel heat shield, round tank with tank pads, and gaitered forks.

Join the Honda Transalp Forum The Transalp name was first introduced on a 583cc V-Twin model in 1986, before gaining larger 647cc and 680cc versions. The new 2023 Honda XL750 Transalp fills the mid-sized adventure bike slot in Hondas lineup, sliding in below the CRF1100L Africa Twin and providing more off-road capability than the NC750X and CB500X.

The 2023 Honda Rebel 1100T adds a fork-mounted fairing and color-matched hard panniers. For the U.S., the bagger model will only be offered with DCT, while some markets may offer a manual transmission option.

While we wait for Honda to officially reveal the the bike, weve managed to get further specifications for the 2023 Honda Hornet, thanks to vehicle certification data from Switzerland. The Swiss data lines up with what Honda has already revealed about the Hornet, including its 755cc Parallel-Twin Unicam engine and its claimed output of 90.5 hp at 9500 rpm, 55.3 lb-ft.
