Honda Gold Wing description

You are bidding on a 1997, 1500cc Goldwing SE.  It has all available options including reverse and everything does work. The options if you dont know the Goldwing SE are, AM/FM/Cass.... cruise...cb....intercom....vented adjustable windshield..... cornering lamps....adjustable passenger floorboards..... stereo fader....reverse.... air suspension.... lighted tourpack wing and tool kit. The color is pearl white with grey. It does have a couple of minor road chips as seen in the pictures but for 16 years old it would be impossible not to have any. It has been garaged and well maintained. I am the 3rd owner.  It has been tuned up which included, spark plugs, air filter, gas filter, coolant check, oil change and clutch adjustment. I also changed both the front and rear tires along with the front and rear brakes. Other add ons include markland driver foot rests, new saddlebag side lights, chrome saddlebag heel protectors, cup holder, battery tender plug, tourpack lighted mirror, all new speakers front and rear , rear center panel light, front signal adapters, custom corbin seat with high backrest for passenger and driver backrest,  new windshield vent, new lighted rings of fire(rotor covers) and a new unused rain cover .  I do have some addiditonal extras that I may give with the bike if I decide not to sell them seperate.

Payment will be cash on pickup or pay pal if you wish. A non refundable deposit of $500 is due within 24 hrs of auction end and the balance due at pick up or shipping.  If you will be getting a loan for the bike please have everything in line before you bid. I do not wish to hold the bike here for an extended period of time.  I can not accept checks unless you wish to wait for it to clear before you get the bike or have it picked up. I do have the title here so there wont be any wait. Shipping will be the expense and responsibility of the winner. If there is some special arrangement you need for pick up or if you live close, delivery, please contact me and we can discuss it.  Thanks for looking.

I have looked at whats been here on ebay and Im sure you as a buyer have as well, higher mileage, not serviced, salvage title, reverse doesnt work, electrical problems, body damage and the list goes on... some were higher priced and others slightly lower but this one doesnt have any of those issues so you wont be putting any cash into this one unless there are accessories you want above and beyond what this one already has. Everything works on this bike, reverse, hazzards, stereo & fader,cb,air compressor, all lights, adjustable floor boards and cruise control. Tires , brakes and full service are already done. Thanks again for looking and reading all of this.

Yamaha Planning Sub-$500 Model to Undercut Honda Dream Yuga

Fri, 25 May 2012

Not long after Honda launched its ultra low-cost Dream Yuga in India, Yamaha announced it is considering a new own model that will be nearly 40% cheaper. The 109cc Dream Yuga is Honda‘s latest weapon in the battle for India’s 13-million unit per year motorcycle market. Priced at 44,642 Indian rupees (US$806), the Dream Yuga is the most affordable Honda model available in India.

Long Live The Kings

This short film features a Honda and a pair of flat-twin Beemers customised by Paris-based Blitz Motorcycles. It was shot exclusively on super 16mm film and looks stunning. But more importantly, loads of fun.

Parrish's predictions for Silverstone MotoGP

Fri, 18 Jun 2010

I'm at Silverstone for the British MotoGP and Steve Parrish spoke to us all about his predictions for the podium. Parrish has gone for Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa to take the top three spots and spray the bubbly at the end of the race. Not too sure on his call though as I think Dani will be riding on a high after winning at Mugello and surely the speedy Spaniard will take full advantage and wring the neck of the Honda at the (supposedly) high speed Silverstone Circuit.
