Honda CRF description

up for auction in the East Bay area of CA

you are looking at my CRF 450 2006 model, in all original condition, this includes the tires, comes with original manual and a few filters, oil etc.

2 owners since new, the first a vet ( as am I)  and was trail ridden and well pampered... and has very few hours on her, I purchased this in Jan of this year from the original owner with the view to riding again just can't find the time.

its had 2 hours of use this year when my son came from overseas to visit, this was on a local MX track, apart from that its sat in the garage since I purchased it.

I don't think you will find a cleaner example in fact the casing were virtually unmarked till my son rode it and I've added a couple of those pre ride photos as well.

it has a clear title in hand and is red stickered till June of 2015 I assume sales tax will be applicable if sold with CA.

I'll be happy to assist with shipping if out of state, at the purchasers cost of course.

I'll be more than happy to supply additional photos or answer any questions if required, cash on pick up, 500 deposit required to show good intent via PayPal

thanks for looking and good luck

Geeky snippets ahead of the Phillip Island MotoGP

Tue, 13 Oct 2009

Valentino Rossi has finished on the podium eleven times in his twelve visits to Phillip Island across all three GP classes. The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.

WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.

X-ray: Marquez's Suter Moto2

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

Learning in the quickest and most painful manner with some huge crashes, Marc Marquez has grown into a championship contender in his first year in Moto2. A debut win in Le Mans saw the rookie go on to win four races in a row and become a glaring orange nuisance in the championship peripherals of Stefan Bradl. As success has gone Marquez's way there have been complaints from riders of the same chassis that this is down to Suter giving the Spaniard preferential treatment.
