1972 Honda CL (1972)
Great low mile vintage Honda with modern brakes/wheels/front fork from a CBR600 Hurricane 2-1 high pipe scrambler exhaust Carbs ultrasonic cleaned and rebuilt with fresh gaskets, jets, etc. Mid-rear sets to give a comfortable riding position with the CBR600 clip-ons Electric start-- bike starts right up All lights and signals work as they should New sealed maintenance free battery Valves checked and gapped New flasher relay The bike has a nice weathered look from age (which just adds to its character,) but this is not a project bike, it is mechanically solid. This bike has a history of being loved its entire exsistance, But most of its life it has been stored away in a shed/garage under a cover. 2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride
Fri, 03 Nov 2023A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.

Church of MO: 2003 Honda ST1300
Sun, 29 Jan 2023By John Burns 1990 Honda ST1100 begat 2003 Honda ST1300, which begat 2014 Honda CTX1300… which at some point in the last few years seems to have gone, mercifully, the way of all flesh. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
