Extreemly Rare I bought this motorcycle from a lady in California whos husband passed. She said he was the original owner of the bike and rode it for aprox 11000 miles and then drained the gas and fluids, added preservation conditioners, removed the battery and placed it on a storage rack among over 50 other collector bikes. That is all I know. I have not had the time to do anything to it and it has been sitting in my garage under a cover exactly the same way as it was delibered to me via transport delivery. 1979 Full Power Honda CBX 6 cylinder Totally original bike with no issues. Very early serial # (605) which was delivered with the smooth cylinder studs. This bike is a very well kept example, has been cleaned and recommissioned to be ridden and or shown as desired. Correct seat, exhaust, shocks, turnsignals etc. Bike has been fitted with the desirable 'sports handling kit' please check out the pictures. I thought about changing the studs as this was a factory recall by Honda, but decided to leave the original ones in as it is part of this bike's history. Replacing the studs can be done with the engine in place, and a complete set of updated studs will go with the bike, as does a manual, tool kit as delivered from the factory. If the bike is to be displayed or shown, the smooth studs are a talking point. I can assist with shipping the bike overseas. TIMS has an extremely nice 1979 bone stock honda cbx--it is in near perfect condition and runs absolutely great--there are no issues with the bike,the carbs are clean,clean ,clean--the clutch has no chatter whatsoever and everything works like it should, the tires are like new,all plastics still have the oem patina look with no fading anywhere,the wheels are super clean,the gas tank has no rust whatsoever in it,the seat is in great condition with no splits tears or rips,the motor is really clean with no oil or gas stains--the only flaws even worth mentioning are 1--a small bubble in the lower pinstripe on the gas tank back near where it meets the seat on the left side and 2--a small slit in the airbox at the seam about 3/8 inch long on the left side as well,but both are hardly noticable--ive driven this bike a couple times and its very tight and shifts smoothly through all gears and the brakes work great as well,the pipes are original oem hm422 and have no scratches,dents or typical underneath rust----this bike is nice enough to put in a collection but ready to ride anywhere as well--you dont find many low mileage bikes that are ready to ride so dont miss out on this one --TIMS will assist with shipping here in the us or overseas as well at the new owners expense--TIMS will be at barber vintage fest from the 9th-13th so we will be unavailable for showing the bike during this time --2013-10-14 00:06:52Cornelia, Georgia, US9,3968,600.00 -

1979 Honda CBX (1979)
I’m re-listing this bike due to concerns with selling and shipping to an overseas buyer. The bike is a stock 1979 CBX with 15,681miles on the odometer. The bike runs and recently had the following work performed: Carbs rebuilt, brake calipers cleaned and flushed, new battery, starter motor rebuilt, new starter solenoid, new plugs, oil change and filter, new Pingel fuel petcock. Paint on the tank is nice, but has a slight fade on the top towards the seat. The seat has splits on the top and the tail panel has nicks and could use a repaint. The side covers need to be repainted and re-decaled, but are in good shape with all tabs still in place. The fuel tank will need to have the inside cleaned and resealed as a previous owner had done it, but the existing sealer is starting to flake. The original exhaust pipes have had repairs done to both sides, but the work is not noticeable. I will include a CBX shop manual and dealer set-up manual with the bike. My reserve is low compared to what these bikes are bringing. 1981 totally custom ground up restoration-it has a custom gray paint job that looks pretty nice over all with no scratches or dings-the motor is a recent 1147 big bore and is super quiet and runs like a bat out of hell(the kawasaki gauge shows 30k and the title shows exempt because its over 10 years old),--theres lots of powdercoated components on it including the frame--it has suzuki hayabusa inverted front forks with a 17 inch wheel and like new avon storm 120/70 tire--braided lines everywhere including the clutch cable and throttle cables--it has tims exclusive cr carbs with our k/n filters ,a ceramic coated 6/1 custom header with a competition baffle and sounds awesome--it has accel coils ,wires and tims exclusive dyna ignition--custom clip on handle bars,custom mirrors,modern master cylinder and a custom light panel,euro conversion alternator ,and it has recent clutch plates installed -the swingarm is been extended approximately 6 inches over with a 17 inch 180/55 like new avon storm tire--there are a lot of little touches on this bike that make it a really trick bike and it runs great with no issues and everything works.2014-07-18 16:41:43Kennesaw, Georgia, United States508000 -

2013 Honda CB1000R limited production Italian designed and built. Honda designs and builds this model in their Italy factory and only imports 250 units into the US each year) with over $5,000 in upgrades including Leo Vince Titanium exhaust, PowerCommander V, GPR steering damper, Givi side panniers and 840 gentle miles. 1979 Honda CBX. 100% stock bike. All original. I've owned the bike for 10 years. During that time, I have completed a partial restoration. Thus far, I have stripped the bike to the frame; re-sprayed the frame w/ DuPont Imron (black), nickel plated the swing arm, the rear brake reaction rod, both front and rear caliper assemblies. Left to accomplish is to repair the torn seat, remove a ding from the gas tank, re-spray the rear cowling behind the seat and clean up the aluminum castings that surround the engine. The engine block is quite clean. The "covers": clutch, alternator, valve covers, and crank end caps are all showing superficial corrosion. They all need to be removed and refinished. 1982 Honda CBX (1982)
I'm selling my 1982 CBX that I've owned for around 9 years. The bike overall is very clean and runs excellent the only mechanical issue it has is the brakes squeaked a little bit from sitting all winter when I rolled it out of the garage for pictures (all my old Hondas do this after hibernation so I don't really consider this an issue) It does have some scratches on the right side saddle bag from tipping over in a parking lot where it sunk into asphalt while on the center stand and fell onto its right side. Other than that to the best of my knowledge the bike has never been wrecked or had any damage. I bought it from a Honda shop manager who owned it for years and he had recently replace the pipes with new old stock Honda 6 into 2 pipes when I purchased it, and they still look amazing. I replaced the tires a few years ago and really haven't had the time to ride as I have a young child and the tires really don't have any miles on them. The bike does have some oxidation on engine covers and slight discoloration in CBX decals on side covers which seems to be common for these bikes. The bike runs good and would make an excellent addition to any collection. I have tried to disclose all known faults with this bike to the best of my knowledge, feel free to contact me with questions and any requests for specific pictures. Mileage may increase slightly. Idles fine, runs really strong throughout RPM range as it should, does pop some on deceleration, maybe due to header, buts really does run smooth and nice, just don't have cables for gauges, but otherwise bike is ready to ride and enjoy. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
