Up for auction is a 1987 Honda CBR1000F Hurricane Sport motorcycle. We are a multi-line motorcycle dealership, selling new Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki & BMW motorcycles in addition to a few other brands. This Honda motorcycle was recently acquired in trade toward the purchase of a new Honda motorcycle.  The last owner purchased this motorcycle in March of 1993 with only 2,613 miles.  They have kept it on the road, serviced it, maintained it, and kept it in good cosmetic & mechanical condition.  Our Honda authorized service department has performed an overall inspection & safety check on this motorcycle, and everything appears to be in good working condition.  This 29 year old Honda would benefit from a general tune up & will need a new rear tire soon.  Otherwise, all she needs is a new rider!

I purchased this bike two months ago with the hope of restoring it and riding it.  I have brought it back to life but now it's time for someone else to enjoy. This bike sat since1997 most of that time in a garage.  The good: bike runs perfect, fires right up every time, all the electronics work perfectly,  new oil and filter, new plugs, new battery, carbs were completely gone through, tank was cleaned out, brake fluids changed and bled, clutch fluid changed and bled, cooling system flushed.  The seat is in very good condition as I purchased it from another bike being parted out, the controls are in very good condition,  the paint on the tank is near perfect with one small chip near the filler, the tires have plenty of tread remaining but should probably be changed given their age.  The bad: the main side panels show the bike has been dropped and the paint is cracking, many scratches and some cracks, a few missing tabs, the bike clearly sat outside for some time as the clear coat is peeling off the side, front and rear panels and the windscreen is yellowed, the mufflers have some scratches.   I have put 250 miles on this bike since bringing it back to life, many of those in 95 degree weather and no problems.  The bike is out of the CA DMV system so there are no back fees due.  The bike comes with a bill of sale and clear title.  Buyer to arrange and pay for shipping.  Please feel free to email me any questions you have.  Thanks.

Hello Ebay!I am selling my 1987 Honda Hurricane 600, more commonly known as a Cbr 600.  This is a great little bike, and I have enjoyed riding it, but I'm deploying in a few weeks and I wont be able to ride again until probably the 2015 riding season.  The bike has the stage 1 jet system installed, and the K&N air filter installed, with a newer D&D exhaust system on it.

Getting a Taste of Honda’s E-Clutch Technology

2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride

Fri, 03 Nov 2023

A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.

A cult classic scooter electrified and reimagined for Gen Z Photos: Honda/Wedrick Campbell It doesn’t take long to scoot around Honda’s US headquarters in Torrance, California to see how the new Motocompacto makes a lot of sense. Honda HQ is effectively a campus, with multiple buildings interlinked by arteries of short roads. Walking is the usual method people use to get around.

Church of MO: 2003 Honda ST1300

Sun, 29 Jan 2023

By John Burns 1990 Honda ST1100 begat 2003 Honda ST1300, which begat 2014 Honda CTX1300… which at some point in the last few years seems to have gone, mercifully, the way of all flesh. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
