I have toured the U.S. and Canada on this bike and gone on twisty roads all over the local area. This is not a small track bike. This is a very fast and powerful bike that retained the production motorcycle speed record for several years. I would not recommend this motorcycle for a beginning rider. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
