Honda CBR description

I've had this CBR since Aug 2011 and since then have put about 7k on it. The motor in it is from another 93, and was rebuilt with new crankshaft, port/polished bench flow tested heads, and the 997cc big bore kit. I added some Factory Pro parts in 2012, all work done by RSUK (In Rochester NY). The plastics are in good shape, there's some cracks here and there but overall its pretty good for a 23 year old bike. Small quarter size ding in tank near the seat, and a small scrape about 1-2" long on the front fairing took some paint off. The odometer reads ~30k, but there is only ~10k on the motor. It runs excellent, very fast, you'll surprise a lot of people with how fast it is. The sticker removal was done by previous owner, only cosmetic things I did are the turn signals swapped out with newer CBR OEM, front's are from a 07 1000rr, the rears are from a 600rr. I have the OEM floppy ones as well.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda VFR800F

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Gracing the new 2014 VFR800F is traction control, ABS, heated grips, adjustable seat height and self-canceling blinkers. The V-Four-powered machine has been re-tuned  for greater low and mid-range torque, and also receives a new telescopic fork, Pro-arm swingarm, wheels, new, slimmer bodywork and styling. Starting with the 782cc V4-VTEC engine, Honda engineers focused mainly on cam timing and valve duration/overlap to increase low-to midrange power and torque, claiming 104.5 hp @ 10,250 rpm and 55.4 ft-lbs of torque @ 8,500 rpm. Bore and stroke is 72mm x 48mm, with compression ratio of 11.8:1. VTEC valve timing still operates one pair of inlet/exhaust valves per cylinder at low rpm, and then switches to four as revs rise. Honda’s single-mode Traction Control System (TCS) is fitted as standard equipment and is operated from the left handlebar.

Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300

Mon, 18 Jul 2011

Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.
