1976 Honda CB750 Super Sport, Survivor, low miles, unmolested (1976)
Up for sale is a 1976 CB750 super sport. I bought this from the original owner. The last time he had it registered was in 1984. I am a mechanic and have gone through the bike, cleaned the carbs, cleaned out the tank, rebuilt the brakes and cleaned up the bike. It is fully functional with one exception, the neutral light stays on through all the gears. It runs and drives very strong, the wiring has never been hacked apart, the vetter fairing has all the correct pigtails and the wiring has not been molested. There is a very small tear in the seat. You will not be disappointed with this bike. I have a clear title in my name. Vintage 1981 Honda CB 750 Custom. Excellent unrestored condition. 7862 miles. Purchased from the original owner. I have the original setup checklist, sales receipt and 600 mile service record from Paul J. Hanafin Honda, Endicott, NY; purchased March 1982. I also have receipts for over $1,600 from work done at Binghamton Honda in November 2014. Carbs removed and sonic cleaned twice. Replaced air cut valves, float needles, and spark plugs. Synchronized carbs. Replaced stator, reg/rectifier, and rotor. The bike currently starts, runs, shifts, brakes as designed. Everything works properly. I do have the original owners manual and I am pretty sure the toolkit is in the bike. There is a sport windshield for it and the motorcycle is wired for a battery tender. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the motorcycle. I do have a trailer and would deliver the bike for an additional fee. It is a beautiful ride! Honda Announces Electric Motorcycle Plans
Tue, 13 Sep 2022Carbon neutrality by 2040 Honda announced plans for a carbon neutral future and a goal of introducing 10 or more electric motorcycles by 2025 including three mid-range models and a youth model for North America. Until now, Honda has been very tentative when it comes to electrification, with its main focus being on developing swappable battery packs for electric two-wheelers. Its Japanese counterparts Yamaha and Kawasaki have outlined their own plans, while in North America, Harley-Davidson is days away from finalizing its LiveWire spin-off.

The name comes from “Dachshund”, as its distinctive T-shaped frame resembles the weiner dog breed, helping it stand out from Honda’s other minibikes like the Monkey and Cub.
