Honda CB description

1975 Honda Cb 750, I have a 1975 cb750k5 it has 16,300 original miles. Did a top end rebuild at 15,000 miles. I have the original Owner's Manual as well as the original underseat toolkit. The exhaust pipes are the stock HM 341 with all four completely intact with baffles still in them. It has been garage kept ever since myself and the previous owner has had it. I cannot vouch for previous owners. The only blemishes on the bike are a few scratches on the tank, a crack in the original seat, and some surface rust on the chrome. it has never been laid down and has a clean title. Nothing out of the ordinary for a bike that is nearly 40 years old. All parts that have been replaced by aftermarket I have the original parts as well. The bike has all original paint and no chips or dents in the tank. Here is a list of the parts that I have replaced due to normal wear. -PAMCO Electronic Ignition (replaced the old points system so it fires up more like a modern bike) -Top end rebuild at 15,000 miles -Carbs rejetted and cleaned (over this past summer) -New performance condenser coils as well as spark plug wires -530 heavy duty chain -Carpy square mini turn signals -Pod Air filters cell-9314725329

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.

Honda 'Hands'

Wed, 03 Jul 2013

Honda are well known for their commercials with their 'Cog' ad for the Honda Accord car (2003) the most awarded of its time. Honda's latest advert celebrates the curiosity of their engineers and features classic motorcycles such as the Honda Cub and the RC112. A CBR and CRF also make an appearance along with a nod to that previous ad, a cog.

So that's why he's called RANDY de Puniet

Tue, 20 Jul 2010

RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.
