This is a 1974 Honda CB360. This bike runs, drives, stops and has only 4,647 miles (at the time the pictures were taken). The paint is in great condition, with minor normal scratches. The neutral safety light does not work, the turn signals light up but don't blink properly. The right tailpipe has a rot hole in the back metal. The electric start button is missing, but the unit does function. The front master cylinder has been rebuilt, and the caliper and pads are new. A Weighty Issue
Mon, 03 Nov 2008For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
Intermot 2012: Honda CB1100 Enters European Market
Wed, 03 Oct 2012As we expected, Honda announced it will bring its retro-styled CB1100 to Europe at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. Previously only available in Japan and Australia, the CB1100 will be available in Europe for 2013, though there is still no sign it will ever be offered in North America. Though it sounds close in name to Honda‘s CB1000R, the two naked standards reflect two differing philosophies.
