Honda CB description
This rare, vintage Honda CB900F Super Sport
has been completely gone through and runs great.
Here’s your chance to own a little bit of motorcycle history, while having fun riding and turning heads on the street. The Honda CB900F Super Sport was produced from 1979 through 1983, and was available in the United States in 1981 and 1982. Due to the limited production years, these bikes are hard to find today. Honda advertising proclaimed the bike to be "a thundering Super-Sport bike with devastating performance and an unwavering stamina" and 35 years later the CB900F Super Sport is still a blast and still fast. For its time, the CB900F was called, "the ultimate statement of air-cooled technology Honda had done so much to create." The CB900F's engine has a 901 cc (55.0 cu in) four-cylinder DOHC engine and was tuned to produce mid range power rather than maximizing peak horsepower, thus giving good acceleration. The bike is also known for good suspension and and strong braking with two front disc brakes and one rear disk brake. 14-Year-Old Canadian Stacey Nesbitt First Woman to Win a National Road Racing Title
Mon, 22 Aug 2011Quebec teenager Stacey Nesbitt has won the Canadian Superbike Championship’s 2011 Honda CBR125R Challenge title. We’re still checking, but organizers are already calling Nesbitt the first woman to win a national road racing championship (excluding women-only categories). The 14-year-old from St-Lazare, Quebec, swept both Honda CBR125R Challenge races in the season finale at Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario, to win the title with 421 points, 52 points ahead of runner-up Austin Shaw-O’Leary.
Riding The Arctic Circle…On A Honda C90
Tue, 21 May 2013Ed March isn’t your typical motorcyclist. He chose to take a motorcycle journey to the Arctic Circle in the dead of winter. While many people would consider this a crazy idea in itself, March’s choice of motorcycle — a Honda C90 — will probably shock many more.
Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?
Thu, 02 Jun 2011The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship. He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
