1979 Harley-Davidson Touring (1979)
1979 Harley Davidson FLH, 1200cc, 74 cubic inch. Frame off restored motor in 1995. The second owner purchased this motorcycle in 1995 in an exclusive auction. He rode the motorcycle, stripped it, painted it, added chrome parts, and stored the motorcycle in his family room for over 15 years. He commented that he purchased the bike from the original owner. Apparently, the original owner fell off of the bike within the first few hundred miles and then stored the bike until 1995. I purchased the bike in August of 2010 from the second owner. The second owner believes the mileage to be original. I rode the bike about 1 year. The engine has good torque, sounds great, and runs smooth. As seen in the pictures, most of the parts are original. In the case that this is a true low mile bike, I do not want to tick the odometer past the 4,000 mile mark, and I do not have proper storage for such a nice motorcycle. As seen in the pictures, this is a super clean and extremely detailed motorcycle. This motorcycle is a perfect candidate to return to factory FLH form and specifications. Some of the original parts have been exchanged with chrome parts.2016-06-23 04:36:32Hoofddorp, Netherlands317,500.00 -

1979 Harley-Davidson Touring (1979)
The FLT Tour Glide was introduced in 1979 as a 1980 model. Sold alongside the existing FLH Electra Glide, the FLT had a larger frame with rubber engine mounts, a five-speed transmission, the 80 cu in (1,300 cc) engine, and a frame-mounted fairing. In order that the FLT frame, which was larger and heavier than the large and heavy FLH frame, would handle acceptably, the front forks were given radical steering geometry which had them mounted behind the steering head, with the frame behind the steering head being recessed to allow adequate steering lock.2016-12-17 04:33:04Centre Hall, Pennsylvania, United States99,500.00 -

1979 Harley Davidson FLH Shovelhead in MINT ORIGINAL condition! (1979)
I have decided to trim my collection a bit and offer this exceptional 1979 Harley Davidson FLH for sale. It was purchaced from Gowanda Harley Davidson on March 31st, 1979 by a gentleman from the Buffalo NY area. I bought it from the estate several years ago and talked to the mans best friend who went with him to pick the new bike up. It has always been serviced by Gowanda Harley and they remember that the owner took exceptional care of the bike. It was always stored in a climate controlled garage and has never been layed down or even scratched. All I have done to the FLH is change the fluids and filter (has original type drop in filter) and polish it. Has only been out for a couple shows and one bike night. It has 12,987 original miles on it and is ready to show. The photos don't show the tour pack but it comes with the bike and is in the same pristine condition. There are a few FLH's left out there but very few unmolested, low mileage originals. Own a piece of Harley history from the AMF era. PLEASE ask questions before you bid as I value my feedback and want you to be happy with your purchase. There is no warranty but you are welcome to come see the bike and hear it run. Delivery is up to the buyer but I may be able to help within a reasonable distance of Fredonia, NY 14063. $1000 Paypal deposit within 24 hrs of auctions end, balance by certified bank check or cash upon pick-up and prior to delivery. Thanks and have fun bidding. TH2013-10-03 22:34:04Fredonia, New York, US12,9873,550.00 -

2025 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic Review – First Ride
Thu, 13 Mar 2025Classic cruising Photos by Bryan J Nelson and Kevin Wing. If I’m cruisin’ there’s no better place to be than on the Heritage Classic. Low and slow is the name of the game here, well, not too slow because while in Sport mode, using the dedicated traction control button on the right switchgear to disable TC resulted in effortless rolling burnouts from the Heritage – again, 120 lb-ft or torque gets the job done.
2025 Harley-Davidson Breakout Review – First Ride
Thu, 13 Mar 2025Better than expected Photos by Bryan J Nelson and Kevin Wing. The Harley-Davidson Breakout was perhaps the biggest surprise for me in a number of ways. Thoughts of Orange County Choppers and other fads from the early aughts consume the same space in my mind as the Breakout.

Thu, 13 Mar 2025Sampling H-D's baseline bobber Photos by Bryan J Nelson and Kevin Wing. At $17,199, the Street Bob comes in as the most affordable Softail in the line-up. You get 5 inches of suspension travel out of the fork and 3.4 inches from the monoshock that’s tucked away to give those Hard Tail vibes.
2025 Harley-Davidson Cruiser Review – First Ride
Thu, 13 Mar 2025Sampling six H-D cruisers Photos by Bryan J Nelson and Kevin Wing. I feel that I can relate with the 2025 Harley-Davidson Cruiser line on a subcutaneous level. Once you get past our exquisite, carefully curated exteriors, we’re both filled with a toxic mix of liquid with our complexities hidden away from view, stuffed down so deep that no one would ever think twice to use the word sophisticated to describe us.
2025 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S & ST Review – First Ride
Thu, 13 Mar 2025A focus on hard-edged performance from the Softail line Photos by Bryan J Nelson and Kevin Wing. The Low Riders take the Softail line to new heights when it comes to performance – and not only due to the High Output tune of the Milwaukee Eight 117 V-Twin. Hustling through a set of corners it’s immediately evident that you’re working with something different.
2025 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Review – First Ride
Thu, 13 Mar 2025Bulbous boys Photos by Bryan J Nelson and Kevin Wing. I’ve always loved the low, wide look of the Fat Boy. Maybe Terminator 2 played a role in this subconsciously, but the Fat Boy does an excellent job of having a classic silhouette with some additional attitude.
