Street Glide 2015 Harley Davidson FLHXS Street Glide Special, Vivid Black w/ Silver pinstripe. Like new with only 1,356 miles. Still under factory warranty until 01/17. First thousand mile service has been done. No dings, no scratches, no issues, no disappointments. Totally stock except for Harley hidden antenna kit. The reception is great and it looks much cleaner. Anyway, the stock antenna goes with the bike. Never dropped, perfect condition, garage kept and comes with original paperwork, manuals, keys, fobs, Battery Tender and Harley cover. $500.00 deposit through PayPal due within 72 hours after auction ends. Balance due within 7 days unless other arrangements are made with me prior to bidding. If not totally satisfied, I will gladly refund your entire deposit immediately. If you wish to fly in and ride it home, I can pick you up at Norfolk International Airport which is only about 20 minutes from here. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.
Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011
Mon, 17 Oct 2011In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
Zero Enters South American Market
Wed, 28 Sep 2011Zero Motorcycles has signed a distribution deal with the Brazilian dealer network Grupo Izzo, bringing its electric motorcycles to first Brazil, and soon across South America. Brazil is one of the world’s fastest growing markets for motorcycles, a market Zero hopes to tap with its new distribution deal. Grupo Izzo is based mainly in Brazil with 11 locations, but has plans to expand into other South American countries.
