2011 Harley Davidson Road King with ABS, 10,437 miles on chassis. 1900+ miles on professional S&S Top-end motor build (running great, just wanted to perk up performance while staying dependable), Heritage bars, Ward fans, oil cooler, newer tires, clear title, garage kept. Runs strong and cool. See pictures for extras. Have dyno sheet with 103 hp and 109 ft lbs of torque at rear wheel. Sounds and runs GREAT. Needs nothing. Buyer responsible for picking up and shipping but will help with logistics. Only issue is a bb size ding in the tank, see pic. Hardly noticeable and doesn't detract from the appearance. Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
Harley-Davidson Offers “Steel Toe Tour” of York Factory
Thu, 23 Feb 2012Harley-Davidson is adding a new factory tour program offering visitors a personal look at the company’s York production facility. For years, the M has been offering free factory tours of its operations in York, Pa., Kansas City, Mo., Tomahawk, Wis., and Menomonee Falls, Wis., facilities. In 2009, Harley-Davidson introduced a premium tour that takes guests into “employee-only” areas called the “Steel Toe Tour” at its Menomonee Falls location.
