Harley-Davidson Touring description

For sale is my 2008 Harley Ultra Classic. It has 30XXX miles.
I purchased this bike 2 years ago. It has been fully maintained and garage-kept since then. I am selling because I need to make room for other toys and garage projects.
Mechanically, everything works great. Same with all electrical systems. Radio, CD, CB, Rider-rider communication all function as they should with no issues.
Tires have a little more than 3/16'' tread. They're nice and evenly worn, so no issues there.
There is a small crease on the front fender. You can see me point at it in the video. It's unnoticeable, especially if the bike isn't super clean. But it's a defect and I want to point it out.
Video walk-around: https://youtu.be/Thx9LOeXGx4

Add-ons include:
Screaming Eagle hand grips
Slip on mufflers (Not sure of the brand. I can't find markings anywhere on them, but they're turn-down tips and sound quite nice).
Kuryakyn ISO pegs
Mad City Cycles seat mod- made the seat sit 2 inches lower, added memory foam. Huge difference, looks stock!
6 inch tinted windshield. I also have the tall stock shield if you want it.

2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout Recalled for Faulty Fuel Indicators

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

Harley-Davidson is recalling 2013-2014 Breakout models, including CVO versions, because the fuel level indication system may not be properly reading the correct amounts of fuel. As of this publishing, recalls have been announced by government agencies in Australia and Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a recall but U.S.-based members of the Harley-DavidsonForums.com report American dealerships have already started receiving recall bulletins. According to a recall announcement by Transport Canada, some Breakout and CVO Breakout models may run out of fuel despite the fuel and range indicators indicating there is still enough fuel in the tank.

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.

Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Party Is Just A Week Away

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Harley-Davidson has been preparing for its 110th anniversary party for the past year, celebrating in 11 countries on six different continents. In the past year, Harley-Davidson employees, dealers and riders have shared thousands of amazing experiences, including a ride through the Tibetan Plateau in China, a parade along the beaches of Sao Paulo and even a Papal blessing. But now the party is coming home to Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend, which promises to be the biggest celebration of them all.  Milwaukee residents have always been cordial hosts for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who make the journey to the City of Festivals from around the world. One Anniversary tradition is the welcoming home of thousands of riders by Milwaukee area residents who stand on the city’s highway overpasses with homemade welcome signs as riders arrive in Milwaukee.
