Harley-Davidson Touring description

I have a 2003 HD Ultra Classic. It runs and drives perfect. No issues or leaks at all. It has 67308 miles on it. This was a family members bike who is no longer with us. He was a senior and his health was not good so he was not doing much driving this past year. He always maintained the bike...proper oil changes at the HD dealership out here in Las Vegas. The tires are in very good condition...the front tire is new. I am almost positive he is the 2nd owner, the first owner was another older gentleman so the bike has never been abused and taken proper care of. It has always been garage kept. Everything seems to work fine....the bike fires right up and sounds great. I believe the pipes on the bike are Vance and Hines....I am including an extra set of exhaust pipes also. The bike has never been laid down....no dents. It is used so it does have a few scratches here and there...I have taken close up shots of the couple marks on the bags. I do my best in being honest in describing anything I sell. I have a clean and clear Illinois title....thats where were originally from and he always just registered the bike there with his motorhome....I am in Las Vegas with the bike..just to be clear. Any questions feel free to ask and I will get back to you asap. I will help out the best I can with any shipping arrangements you make or I can pick you up if you fly in from out of town. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. A $200.00 deposit is to be made within 2 days. Thank you for looking.

More Miles From Dunlop’s 2nd-Gen American Elite Tires

Thu, 14 Mar 2013

Dunlop says its second-generation of American Elite tires provide increased mileage, and come in a variety of new styles. Designed with Dunlop’s MT Multi-Tread technology, with a long-wearing center compound and grippier compounds on each edge, the new American Elite’s should pique the interest of Harley FL owners. The second-gen series of American Elites are also now available with narrow white bar sidewalls and wide white walls along with the original black sidewall, providing FL owners more choices.  For riders of Harley-Davidson FL Touring bikes, model year 2009 and later, the new second-generation American Elite tires with Multi-Tread are available in 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 black sidewall, 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 narrow white sidewall, 130/90B16 and 180/65B16 wide white sidewall, with the 130/70B18 front tire available for select CVO bikes. For recent-model Softail owners, including models such as the Fat Boy, the MH90-21, 140/75R17 and 200/50R17 sizes of American Elite are also available.

Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.

Storm Tears Facade Off Colorado Harley-Davidson Dealership

Tue, 09 Apr 2013

A Harley-Davidson dealership in Pueblo, Colo., suffered some serious damage after heavy winds from a spring storm ripped off the wall of the dealership’s second floor. The 34,000 square-foot Outpost Harley-Davidson dealership on I-25 in Pueblo usually features a high front wall that sticks up above the building’s gable roof (see the “before” picture below). The damage occurred early in the morning and it’s not clear at this point if anyone was around when it happened.
