Harley-Davidson FL description

This is a custom built 1956 Panhead FL springer. This Panhead has been gone through completely and features a rebuilt engine that has been upgraded and blacked out. All fluids have been changed as expected. This FL has a fabricated shift linkage that changes the foot clutch to a hand clutch and the hand shift to a foot shift. The clutch arm has been cut down for smoother shifts and a new heavy duty clutch cable was installed. This FL is still a kick start but the distributor has electronic internals to facilitate one kick starts. The exhaust is customized and has been wrapped to improve performance and appearance. The bike has brand new Shinko old school looking tired to really set the design off. New spoke wheels were also added and painted to add to the style. The bike has a ton of powder coated parts to add to the bikes durability and functionality. I custom painted the gas tank and fender to really make the bike pop. I am sure I am forgetting some things so if you have specific questions let me know, after all, I did build the bike.

We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
