2012 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob FXDB, This 2012 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob is about as new a bike as we have in our Used Motorcycle Dept without actually being new. It has all of 424 miles on it, some of which I put on. The windshield has a locking feature to help keep this windshield from disappearing. This is the first windshield with a locking device I have seen and it works! This FXDB is painted Ember Red Sunglo which contrasts nicely with its blacked out running gear. Its previous owner also put on a set of highway pegs. For those interested, this is a Dyna to be seen in person. Check out the black wheel rims, the staggered exhausts and the 60's period tail light. Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great! Harley-Davidson Expands H-D1 Bike Builder Tool for All Non-CVO Models
Fri, 08 Jun 2012Harley-Davidson has expanded its online H-D1 Bike Builder customization tool to include more models from its current lineup. The H-D1 Bike Builder allows users to customize motorcycles with parts from Harley-Davidson‘s catalog. The tool was previously only available for Sportster 1200 models but Harley-Davidson has add all of its models except for the high-end Custom Vehicle Operations line.
2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
