Harley-Davidson Dyna description
2008 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide 105th Anniversary Edition, This bike is like new with only 3002 miles on it! - Being a numbered Anniversary edition, #1565 of only 2000 ever built, makes this bike a must have for any Harley lover, plus it only has 3002 miles on it... Yes that is correct, only 3002 miles on it, that is not a typo. This Wide Glide is like a brand new bike. With the 105th anniversary edition only paint scheme, special badging and being a numbered unit means you should have this in your collection! It comes with the 96 cu inch rubber mounted V-Twin engine along with the 6 speed transmission which makes this a wonderful bike to take out for long rides or is rare enough to grab all the attention during your local bike night. Over and above what would normally come on a Wide Glide in 2008, this one also has the following - The factory security system - Chrome lower legs - the "Smooth Profile" factory laced wheels - Chrome switches on the handle bars - flame style grips, shifter peg and brake pad, along with a thunder Header exhaust system which just sounds great. Vespa goes back to the future
Thu, 22 Nov 2012IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while. I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
