DON'T MISS THIS ONE LOTS OF EXTRAS !!!! - LIGHTWEIGHT MOVES - HEAVYWEIGHT PUNCH The new 848 enjoys all the performance advancements of the entire Superbike family, while adding its own innovations to redefine the middleweight sport bike class. The words 'agile' and 'refined' aptly describe the 848. At 369 pounds (168 kilograms) the 848 is an amazing 44 pounds (20 kilograms) lighter than its predecessor, and a significant 11 pounds (5 kilograms) lighter than its larger capacity brother, the 1098. The highly advanced 848 engine uses an improved method of engine case production in which cases are vacuum die-cast formed. While providing significant weight savings of more than 6.5 pounds (3 kilograms), this method also ensures consistent wall thickness and increased strength. Further refinements include a sophisticated wet clutch that offers 2.2 pounds (1 kilogram) less weight, a much higher service life, improved clutch feel and quiet operation. With the first twist of the wrist, the powerful rush of the Testastretta Evoluzione engine confirms that the rules have changed. The 848's 134 horsepower is not only 30 percent more powerful than its predecessor, but it provides a power-to-weight ratio even better than the potent 999. The 848 - a new class of Superbikes.

2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini First Look
Fri, 02 Sep 2022Limited edition model priced at $68,000 As we expected earlier this week, Ducati kicked off its 2023 World Première series with a limited edition Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini model. This marks the second tie-in between the two Volkswagen Group brands, following the Diavel Lamborghini model in 2021. Ducati will produce 630 units of the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini in the Verde Citrea/Arancio Dac color scheme with matching Arancio Dac red brake calipers that matches one of the paint options for the Lamborghini Huracán STO.

Tue, 10 Jan 2012My long-term Fireblade went back to Honda last week and, seeing as it’s sunny and mild outside now, I’m already missing it. It is one of the best 1000cc sports bikes out there, I don’t care what anyone else says, the way it makes its power is just perfect for fast road use. With the Power Commander 5 fitted and the fuelling sorted my 2011 Blade performed as well if not better than the 2012 version.

This will be Rich’s second tour across the country.
