Ducati Superbike description

very well maintained 1098S, I bought this 1098S last month form the original owner who was a military officer transferring to Alaska for his final duty and he planned on getting a dual purpose bike when he got there. the bike was in pristine condition. always stored indoors, and under a Ducati cover. The tires had massive chicken strips and the bike has a Sargent touring seat on it. he never abused it. the belts were done at 7500 miles and then he went overseas for two years and since the bike sat he had the entire 7500 mile service done again as suggested by Ducati at 10,300 miles. so this bike just had its full service 300 miles ago that cost just under  $1000.00

bike also has brand new supercorsa SP v2's installed 7/19/2016

The bike is loaded with add ons

big bore Termignoni full system 3000,00
ohlins steering damper               600.00
scorpio alarm                             500.00
Sargent seat w/passenger            500.00
zero gravity windscreen                 90.00

now the only bad ( very minor , when I was driving home from buying the bike, seriously... a semi on 95 decided to ignore the concept of merging when entering traffic, came into my lane and smoked the side of my truck, spinning me out on 95. thankfully I had my suitcases next to the bike to absorb the fall, the only damage was the bikes fork seals started to leak ( which were repaired by frontline eurosports with authentic ohlins seals and oil ) and cracked left fairing. I have been searching ebay for a OEM left replacement fairing but all I keep seeing is the  right fairing..go figure. I saw a buddy with a set of aftermarket fairings and they looked perfect, so I decided to go ahead and order an entire set of aftermarket fairings in the black 1098R livery, with the white solo tail paint and white nose highlight. I will include these in the sale and you will have an almost complete second set of plastics.
i have uploaded the photos of the bike so you can see it fell over in the truck and how it fell on the suitcase

mileage will go up a little as I ride it now and then.

Milan show: Ducati Diavel latest

Tue, 02 Nov 2010

Just got back from Ducati's stand in hall 18 and it's swamped. People are literally scuffling to get a sit on the new Diavel. I managed to scuffle my way to the front and even though the handlebar grips were dripping with other people's excited hand secretions, it was a pleasant experience.

Radical Ducati Closing Its Doors

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

Radical Ducati, the Madrid-based motorcycle shop known for its wild and exquisite custom Ducatis, has suddenly ceased operations.  On its Facebook page, Pepo Rosell who runs the shop alongside Reyes Ramon, posted, “It has been more than 15 years of passion, designing, fabricating, riding and developing my dreams. Now is time to stop and make a change in my life. I want to thanks all of you for your support and for share our passion.” The loss of Radical Ducati is certainly unexpected. While it’s a sad sight to see them go, thankfully the duo have created some of the most beautiful custom Ducatis on the planet, which will live on as a reminder of their legacy. So in their honor, I’ve created a photo gallery below of just a sampling of some of Rosell and Ramon’s best work.

Ask MO Anything: Why Didn't the Ducati Supermono Just Use Normal Counterbalancers?

Mon, 12 Sep 2022

Doppia Bielletta for 100, Alex Following our recent Falloon File about the lovely and talented little Ducati Supermono, Commenter Bob wanted to know: “Why did Bordi use an extra connecting rod instead of the usual balance shafts? BMW had a parallel twin with a third con rod for the same reason. I would be interested in reading a technical analysis of those motors.” Dear Bob, Interesting.
