2005 Ducati S2R800. Little over 16K. Just completed Factory service. New timing belts, valve adjustment, New Oil and filter, Brake and clutch flushes, New Superlite sprockets and RK Chain. New BMC air filter, new CRG levers. Newer tires. Throttle sync. New oil temp sensor. Powder coated engine side cases, pegs, heel guards, bar ends, shift rod. This is a Beast!! Full Termignoni exhaust. Good brake pads F&R. Very clean moto!! The bike needs.....Nothing. Ducati tech owned. Newer tires, All services have been kept up on time. Next service is due 22,350K miles. Eni full synthetic 10w40 oil used. There is a small crack on the lower speedo bezel. (in picture) *Buyer is responsible for shipping if needed. Ducati 1199 Panigale Subjected to Five More Recalls
Thu, 23 Aug 2012Ducati has issued five recall campaigns for 1199 Panigale for a number of issues. These five new recalls follow an earlier recall in June for a “non-compliant” swingarm mounting screw. One of the new recalls, campaign ID #12V401000, is also related to the swingarm connection.
Investindustrial to Sell Ducati
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Ducati may be up for sale again, according to a report by The Financial Times. The Italian manufacturer’s primary owner, private equity firm Investindustrial, is reportedly looking for a buyer in either the automotive industry or a rival motorcycle maker. The firm’s chairman, Andrea Bonomi, told Financial Times the time is right for finding a buyer.
Ducati Multistrada Sets Pikes Peak Record
Mon, 27 Jun 2011Carlin Dunne set a new course record for motorcycles in Ducati’s second consecutive Pikes Peak International Hill Climb victory. Riding the Ducati Multistrada 1200, Dunne completed the 12.42 mile course in 11:11.32 for the win in the 1205 class for 900cc and larger Twin cylinder machines. Dunne’s time was also 34 seconds faster than the winning time set by Greg Tracy on the Ducati Multistrada in the 2010 race.
