    2008 Buell 1125r which looks great, handles and sounds awesome.  The exhaust is very deep and loud sounds great.  This is a one owner motorcycle in great shape and never been raced or put down. The bike has less than 13,000 miles and I have only used AMSoil motor oil since I purchased the bike.  The bike has new plugs and the valves checked and in spec.  Things I have put on the bike are as listed EBR race tuner K&N high flow air filter D&D stainless steel pipe Fender eliminator with LED lights Michelin pure power tires  Dynamat heat shield on inner gas tank/frame (helps keep gas cool from motor heat)  I also have the official factory service manual and owners manual and all stock parts can go with bike and has a cover. I have a Buell leather race jacket and gloves that will be sold separately if interested let me know

    Amazing 2008 Buell (EBR) 1125r motorcycle, 6800 miles looks and rides great!  The 1125R is powered by a 1,125 cc (68.7 cu in) Helicon V-twin engine made by BRP-Powertrain (Rotax) of Austria. The liquid-cooled engine has a V angle of 72° and produces a claimed 146 hp (109 kW), with a rpm limit of 10,500. The Helicon engine's 72° layout differs from Buell's previous V-twins, which were based on 45° air-cooled Harley-Davidson Sportster motors, modified for greater efficiency and output.

Erik Buell Racing (EBR) has announced it will partner with K&L Supply to enter the #13 EBR 1190 with Cory West in the Sonoma round of the Superbike Shootout series this coming weekend, May 3-4. “EBR is very excited with this new opportunity to run the EBR 1190 in front of the race fans. We had commitments that made it impossible to attend the first Superbike Shootout round in Fontana, but with K&L Supply adding their support we were able to make a rush trip from our test in Louisiana last weekend to the beautiful Sonoma Raceway track in Sonoma, California,” announced Erik Buell, founder of EBR.

At the time no official photos were revealed, but that’s all changed as Pegram posted these pictures of his completed 1190RX in full race livery on his Facebook page. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.

FIM Eases WSBK Homologation Requirements

With the 2014 World Superbike Championship now under way, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) announced a change in the homologation procedure for new motorcycles entering the series. The new regulations requires a minimum of 125 units produced in order to begin the homologation process. By the end of the first year of participation, manufacturers must have produced 250 units.

Held March 6-9 in Rome, Motodays will be an important event for EBR’s plans to establish a European dealer network. EBR opened its first European office last month in the Netherlands, but Motodays will be the European motorcycle show debut of the company and its 1190RX sportbike.

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.

FIM Confirms Erik Buell Racing Meets Production Requirements for WSBK Homologation

The International Motorcycling Federation has confirmed that Erik Buell Racing has met the required level of production to meet homologation requirements to compete in the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The news isn’t much of a surprise, considering EBR and racers Geoff May and Aaron Yates were listed on the WSBK provisional entry list released in late January, but the announcement offers the first official confirmation. Charles Hennekam, the FIM’s technical coordinator and motorcycle homologation officer and Gregorio Lavilla, Dorna WSBK sporting director visited EBR‘s factory in East Troy, Wisc., last month to verify the production level on the company’s 1190RX superbike.

Hero Motocorp has revealed a new 620cc streetfighter concept called the Hastur at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in Greater Noida, near New Delhi. The Hero Hastur concept was developed with the help of Erik Buell Racing which provided its expertise in working with larger engines than Hero’s usual small-displacement motorcycles. The Hastur is powered by a parallel twin 620cc engine claiming 78.9 hp at 8000 rpm and 53.1 ft-lb.

EBR Announces More Than 60 Founding Dealers

Erik Buell Racing (EBR) today announced its founding dealerships across the United States. The recruitment process began shortly after the American International Motorcycle Expo in Orlando, Florida, where the company took the wraps off the 1190RX production superbike. More than 60 dealers will be the first to carry the 1190RX.
