I'm listing this bike for my dad.  He's pretty old school.  Not very computer savvy.  This is my dad's 1992 R100r BMW.  My dad kept very meticulous service records of this bike.  It's in very good gorgeous condition.  My dad is 80 years old and still rides regularly however he has a hard time touching the ground on this bike anymore.  He pretty much just rides his xs650's and a Kawasaki 500 twin cruiser.  Those who know these bikes are familiar with the fact that they are quite rare and very collectible.  This particular bike is a fine example.

Selling one very clean 1992 BMW R100R BMW with factory hard luggage, and 8600 original miles.  As you can see from the pictures, this is a very clean bike that is in exemplary condition, runs and rides like new and comes with original owners manuals and spare key.  Same owner for the last 16 years since 1400 miles.  Light cosmetic blemishes, please examine pictures.  It does leak a small amount of oil, I believe from the pushrod tube seals.  This is a 26 years old bike.  Left tank badge is peeling a little bit, and there are some small scuffs under the valve covers, but overall this is a very nice bike. To be paid within 7 days of purchase, buyer reponsible for shipping costs, but we are happy to assist in any way possible.  Sold as is.  Please call us at 503-805-2684 if you have any other questions.  Sold by Motorcycle Warehouse, Inc.      1992 BMW R100GS "Bumble Bee" - Very nice example of BMW's dual purpose bike.  This bike is loaded with extras.  Factory Saddlebags, auxillary outlet, tank bag, Custom leather seat.  Selling this for a customer who needs to move on to a new bike.  This is very low mileage for the year.  It appears to be in good mechanical condition.  It has had regular maintenance.  The oil changed every 3500 miles.  Ready to go to Alaska, or ride around town.  Motor is quiet.  Cosmetically, it is very nice.  Has minor chips here and there from wear and tare.   Previous sale fell through, so we are relisting. No warranties expressed or implied.  This is a used bike.  We reserve the right to sell to walk in customers. Perry's Motorcycles and Sidecars 816 South Sylvania Avenue Fort Worth, Tx.

Up for auction is a beautiful 1992 BMW R100GS with only 9500 miles on the clock! These classic machines are getting harder and harder to find, especially in this sort of unmolested and super low mileage condition. This bike is all original and super clean.

How To Use A Motorcycle Helmet Communicator

Wed, 05 Feb 2025

Stay connected even when you’re trying to disconnect It used to be that we would hop on our motorcycles to disconnect from the world and find peace and serenity out on the open road. But now with our interconnected world, some of us have no choice but to stay tethered to the technology gods – even while riding. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing; being able to call a friend from the road, get directions piped into your ear, or listen to an actual soundtrack in addition to the one from your exhaust note all make riding more enjoyable.

KTM Sells MV Agusta Back to the Sardarov Family

Fri, 31 Jan 2025

Transaction in the “mid double-digit million” euro range MV Agusta is returning to the control of a wealthy family that had previously owned the Italian brand, shortly after it had been purchased by a larger motorcycle company. If that sounds familiar, it’s what happened when the Castiglioni family regained full ownership of MV Agusta from Harley-Davidson back in 2010, after the American company had purchased it from the family in 2008. Fast forward to 2025 and history repeats itself, this time with the Sardarov family regaining 100% control of MV Agusta after KTM exercised its option to gain a majority stake just a year prior.

Limited Edition Vespa 946 Snake Celebrates Lunar New Year

Fri, 17 Jan 2025

Vespa probably isn’t the brand you’d think would be celebrating the Lunar New Year and honoring the Chinese zodiac, but for the third year in a row, the Italian brand has done just that with a limited edition 946 scooter. The 2025 Vespa 946 Snake comes after last year’s 946 Dragon and 2023’s 946 Bunny as the third entry in the brand’s Lunar Collection. We can probably expect the collection to expand over the next decade to complete the Chinese zodiac’s 12 animals, with a Horse-themed model for 2026.The 946 Dragon came in a muted golden color with a bold green dragon graphic on the front shield, while the 2023 946 Bunny had a more playful look, with a lime green color and a cartoon rabbit on the shield.

2025 Harley-Davidson Carry-Over Models Announced

Fri, 03 Jan 2025

What Harley announced… and what it didn’t Harley-Davidson announced its first batch of models returning for 2025 (well, technically second batch, if you include the returning police bikes confirmed in December, so, let’s say the first batch of consumer models). As usual, the first bikes to be announced are carry-over models, those returning with new color options and pricing adjustments, but no significant mechanical changes. These include the Road Glide, Street Glide, and Road King Special baggers, plus the Road Glide 3, Freewheeler, and Tri Glide Ultra trikes.
