1967 BMW R60 - RECENTLY RESTORED AND MATCHING NUMBERS (1967)
I am offering up a beautiful 1967 BMW R60 that I had restored by Sonoma Classic Restorations. They do quality work and it was a long time coming. The options I requested for the bike are as follows; luggage rack, Corbin seat (I just like the look of the Corbin, it sits better in the bike and wanted something different than all the others with the Denfield seats), Bumm mirrors, tire pump, wide tires, headlight guards, Hoske tank and risers, and handle bar signals. I loved the Dover White so that was chosen as the color as you can see from the pictures. There is a small crack in the taillight paint as you can see in the pictures and a place on the fender where the paint twisted due to the bolt tightening. As far as the motor, it was completely rebuilt and you can see from his website as far as what he does to go through them. I have ridden it a few miles since I got it as the odometer has shown while Sonoma Classics was testing it (still has less than 100 miles on it).2013-10-01 15:48:20Worcester, Massachusetts, US7210,000.00

BMW Motorcycle from Academy Award-Winning Movie, "Milk" (1967)
My wife is in the Screen Actors Guild and works in movies, so the "Milk" production people knew about this bike and rented it for use in the movie. It's the bike in the movie (sequence beginning at about 118 minutes into it) that James Franco uses to pick up Sean Penn (playing the role of Harvey Milk) at the camera shop and take him to the nighttime rally at San Francisco City Hall, where Penn (as shown in image sequence) hops off and goes to make his speech. I have written documentation of its use in the movie.2013-09-03 04:01:41Penngrove, California, US21,12014,999.00

What’s The Deal With KTM Camshafts?
Fri, 18 Oct 2024Motorcycle.com digs for the truth behind the 790 camshaft hullabaloo Photo by Sebas Romero The internet can be a cruel place sometimes. Keyboard warriors, safe behind the anonymity of their computer screens, can spew words without much thought about the facts or the far reaches of where their words could be seen or heard. What’s worse, seemingly innocent or off-the-cuff remarks can be picked up by a third party and spread like wildfire.
How To Adjust the Clutch Cable on a Motorcycle
Thu, 17 Oct 2024It goes by many names: Clutch free play, clutch slack, or clutch tension describes the amount of free movement your motorcycle’s clutch lever has before it begins pulling on the clutch cable itself. Why does that matter? The clutch installed on your bike is a wear item, and as the friction plates within the clutch wear out from countless engagements and disengagements, they become thinner.

2025 Honda NT1100 Updated for Europe, but Still Not Coming Here
Fri, 04 Oct 2024More than 12,000 sold since 2022, but 0 in North America Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Honda has updated one of its most popular models in Europe, but it’s still not coming to North America. We’ve heard that refrain a lot over the years, and it’s no different for the NT1100 sport-tourer. Introduced in Europe in 2022, the NT1100 is a sport-touring model that shares much of its bones with the CRF1100L Africa Twin.
2025 Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 – First Look
Wed, 02 Oct 2024The Svartpilen 801 has a new roadster-styled sibling, as Husqvarna announces the new “White Arrow” Vitpilen 801. Like the Black Arrow, the Vitpilen adopts the 799cc LC8c Parallel-Twin of the KTM 790 Duke, offering yet a new option to the shared platform. Ryan Adams recently reviewed the Svartpilen 801 and found it a “worthy contender in the market that brings its own unique style alongside proven performance.” That theme continues with the new Vitpilen, which brings its own take, with more aggressive ergonomics and a bright splash of color in yellow (a silver color is also available if you prefer something less flashy).
