2002 R1150r JetBlack Roadster/Rockster (2001)
This bike is like brand new and is hard to find in pristine condition with low miles. Of course, you will find a few minor blemishes and nicks here and there due to normal riding. I tried to show those in the pics. Clean title, single-owner. This bike does NOT have ABS brakes. Has always been stored indoors. Has heated grips for when the weather gets colder. Everything is absolutely up to date and bike is running perfectly except for the front tire. You may get just a few hundred miles left unless you ride in the rain (I never did), then I would replace it ASAP. Hard to imagine a better bike. Sadly, the bike fell over once in my garage. Replaced left kick stand, brake handle and shifter. That was a sad day. Bike has had all its scheduled services done at a BMW licensed dealer/mechanic and is in absolutely perfect working order. I have all the maintenance receipts. The bike only required one repair to the fuel line quick-disconnects. They were replaced by me.

1973 BMW R75/5 SWB Cafe Scrambler. Number Match. Thoroughly Revivified. Fast. (1973)
BACKSTORY I have here one R75/5 SWB classic with matching engine, frame, and badge numbers; it has a model year of 1973 and a build date of 1/1972, so the wiring is fuseless and most of the parts are stamped 1971. I got it as a basket case in the Spring and spent an unreasonable amount of time this Summer reviving and refinishing various components and making a few reversible (non-destructive) modifications.Â PO replaced the head & base gaskets, pushrod tube seals, etc., got it fired up then lost interest.Â REVIVAL (I would not call it a "restoration") I stripped & painted the frame and swingarm (spray lacquer; 3 coats black, 3 coats clear) and polished most of the engine casings. All the knurled BMW casing bolts looked great, but much of the other original hardware (hardened nuts & bolts, bushings, motor mounts, brake linkage, seat latch, steering damper, etc.) had a "lovely patina" (ahem), so I de-plated and re-plated all (zinc; 2 to 4 strikes).

More than 12,000 sold since 2022, but 0 in North America Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Honda has updated one of its most popular models in Europe, but it’s still not coming to North America. We’ve heard that refrain a lot over the years, and it’s no different for the NT1100 sport-tourer. Introduced in Europe in 2022, the NT1100 is a sport-touring model that shares much of its bones with the CRF1100L Africa Twin.

The Svartpilen 801 has a new roadster-styled sibling, as Husqvarna announces the new “White Arrow” Vitpilen 801. Like the Black Arrow, the Vitpilen adopts the 799cc LC8c Parallel-Twin of the KTM 790 Duke, offering yet a new option to the shared platform. Ryan Adams recently reviewed the Svartpilen 801 and found it a “worthy contender in the market that brings its own unique style alongside proven performance.” That theme continues with the new Vitpilen, which brings its own take, with more aggressive ergonomics and a bright splash of color in yellow (a silver color is also available if you prefer something less flashy).

Anniversary edition will likely be revealed Oct. 17 Ducati is partnering with Rizmoa to prepare a special edition Scrambler to commemorate ten years since its debut in 2015. The confirmation comes to us via the California Air Resources Board, which has issued an updated executive order for the 2025 Ducati Scrambler range, adding a Scrambler 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition.

Bosch Announces Next-Generation Radar-Based Safety Systems

Four of the six new systems will debut on a new KTM in November Bosch announced six next-generation radar-based rider assistance systems that it claims could help make motorcycling safer and more comfortable. These six systems – five of which Bosch claims to be world-firsts – offer a step beyond radar-based adaptive cruise control. Bosch also confirmed that four of the systems (all involving forward-facing radar sensors) will debut on a new model from KTM that is set to debut in November.

Likewise, the two teams from Benelux have now joined together to create a co-ed team with the remaining female competitor joining the two men to round out the team. Despite being down a day’s worth of points, our good ol boys hit the ground running on their way out of Spitzkoppe toward the first special test of the day, the Advantec Pull Challenge.

Pricing starts at $19,995 for the base model, $28,305 for the Multistrada V4 S (which, for the U.S. includes the Travel & Radar trim), and $32,995 for the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak.

2024 GS Trophy Day 3 – Challenging the Omaruru

Team USA’s third day began with a total disqualification from the overall standings. Kirk Graydon, our competitor from South Carolina, began feeling ill during day two, making it into camp on fumes and eventually getting an IV and nausea medication to help relieve his symptoms. With no appetite and a shot from the doc to help him sleep, Graydon slowly started feeling better, but elected not to continue the GS Trophy alongside his teammates the following day due to safety concerns for himself and others.
