Letting go of an old friend 1995 BMW R/100-RT Classic. The last year of the airhead breed for BMW. I am the only owner of this Arctic Grey and Graphite touring bike. 17,900 original miles...matching BMW faring, lowers, crash bars, snap-off saddle bags and trip trunk, heated hand-grips, new tires and battery. Voltmeter, clock, hazard flashers, twin front disks, stock original tool roll and owners manual. Bike is in great running shape with only a couple tiny dings in paint on one side. This one was garaged all winter while the Lexus sat out in the weather. Call me before the snow comes. T I'll include a helmet, covers, rain suit (men's size large) riding gloves. The Roman Emperor’s retirement after winning the 2012 World Superbike Championship marked the end of an era for Aprilia, with the 2013 campaign marking the first without Biaggi since the Italian manufacturer came back to the WSBK scene with the RSV4. If Aprilia misses its two-time WSBK Champion, it sure didn’t show it with a dominating display at the 2013 season opener in Australia.
2014 BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy Announced
Fri, 20 Dec 2013After holding three events in the southern hemisphere, the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy will go north in September 2014, to Canada. Billed as the GS riders’ Olympics, the biennial competition pits teams representing different countries against one another in a number of challenges testing their riding skills. Previous competitions had competitors riding the F800GS but for 2014, the GS Trophy will switch to the liquid-cooled R1200GS.

Fri, 13 Jan 2023Its not easy being a cheapskate on a $25,000 motorcycle Chrissy Rogers and I were toying with the idea of a pre-Christmas blast up the Pacific coast to Hearst Castle for a few days while business was slow, since the weather was an impeccable partly cloudy and 60-ish degrees. That or maybe the Ruta de Vino down Mexico way? Maybe hop in the new-to-me 23-year old Jaguar?
