Letting go of an old friend 1995 BMW R/100-RT Classic. The last year of the airhead breed for BMW. I am the only owner of this Arctic Grey and Graphite touring bike. 17,900 original miles...matching BMW faring, lowers, crash bars, snap-off saddle bags and trip trunk, heated hand-grips, new tires and battery. Voltmeter, clock, hazard flashers, twin front disks, stock original tool roll and owners manual. Bike is in great running shape with only a couple tiny dings in paint on one side. This one was garaged all winter while the Lexus sat out in the weather. Call me before the snow comes. T I'll include a helmet, covers, rain suit (men's size large) riding gloves. This system can also be accessed via the BMW Motorrad Connected App, available for both Android and iOS.
BMW Reportedly Developing 450cc Racebike
Wed, 28 Nov 2012Italian website Motociclismo.it reports BMW is working on a new 450cc racebike to be used in youth racing series at select rounds other World Superbike Championship and the British Superbike Championship. According to the report, the new track-only sportbike will use a 450cc single-cylinder engine, likely the Husqvarna-developed version of the engine used in the BMW G450X. The engine will be mounted in an all-new chassis with racing suspension, wheels and carbon fiber fairing.

Road test after road test, I shamelessly fawn and toady over all these $30,000 motorcycles loaned to me by the masters of the universe who produce them… I do feel some guilt, but this is really the only job skill I’ve got. Thankfully, sometimes the motorcycle makes it really easy to gush, which is the case with BMW’s freshly overhauled K1600 line.
