BMW R-Series description

I have here a 1969 BMW R69US that has been converted to an early R75/5 engine, transmission and controls.
750cc reliable engine, 5 speed transmission, early R75/5 headlight bucket and handlebars controls. Bike has under 2,000 miles since conversion. The speedometer and odometer both work great, but the mileage shown on the speedo 67,xxx is not accurate to the wear and tare of the motorcycle
Many upgrades, 12v battery conversion, has both kick start and electric start, wixom bags.
Runs perfect and needs nothing. It is ready for a side-car should you decide to add on (just bolts on).Very expensive bike to build but well worth it as you get the vintage look of a /2 and the reliability of the /5 engine and transmission.

This year, it was completely gone through to make sure everything was in order for 600mile trip that i just took. I have many receipts from a reputable shop in Chicago that shows the work done. This is a turn key bike thats ready to go and enjoyed for many years to come. Cosmetically not a show bike but a looker as i use it as a rider in the city and on weekend out of town trips.

I have more pictures and a video showing the bike running nicely, can email per request

I also have the contact information of the person that did the work on the motorcycle for any technical questions you may have
