Excellent original owner 1999 BMW K1200 RS ABS silver/blue with BMW hard travel cases, factory optional heated grips. Always garaged. All maintenance records available since day one. New Metzler Z6 front and rear tires with less than 200 miles on them. New Sargent seat, very comfortable. Newly professionally installed Spiegler braided stainless steel brake lines. Maintenance up to date. This is a great sport touring bike. Just over 30k highway miles. Minor cosmetic scratches, bike has never been down or in an accident. Very fast but also very comfortable, esp. for long distance travel. This is a great bike, needs nothing just enjoy it.

Öhlins Introduces Electronically Adjustable Suspension System Replacement for BMW R1200GS ESA
Thu, 11 Aug 2011Öhlins has introduced what it is calling the world’s first replacement electronic suspension system, with a new aftermarket replacement kit for the BMW R1200GS’s Enduro ESA system. Like BMW‘s ESA and ESA II technology, Öhlins’ system lets riders adapt a motorcycle’s suspension with the push of a button. Öhlins’ system works with the R1200GS’s ECU and the existing user interface.

This converted BMW R1200RT has two 20 or 25 liter tanks (contain a premix of water and foam) mounted on either side that is connected to a 6.8 liter compressed air tank on the back of the bike that has a 20 to 30 meter hose. They are currently being used in the U.K.
