Aprilia RSV 1000 R description

2007 Aprilia RSV 1000 R, 2007 Aprilia RSV R - This RSV has had a gentle tip on the left side mirror and lever. Bike has LOW miles and needs nothing. Aprilia is celebrating its impressive sporting record by giving the RSV new graphics – taken directly from the bike that finished third in the Superstock class at the legendary “Bold’Or”, the most famous 24 hour motorcycle endurance race in the world. In a season when Aprilia is celebrating 200 wins in GP World Championship racing, what better choice of graphics could there be for Aprilia’s top-of-the-range sports model than graphics inspired by the Aprilia AF1 bikes that brought the company its first GP victories in the early 1980s. Endurance racing has provided more than just an unforgettable experience. It has served as a valuable test bench for the latest technical solutions now appearing on Aprilia production bikes. The Aprilia RSV 1000 R is determined to maintain its supremacy as the best sports twin money can buy, for its advanced technology and for its amazing performance. But what counts the most is the fact that the Aprilia RSV 1000 R is still the bike to beat when it comes to ease of riding. Because riders feel so instantly confident on an Aprilia RSV 1000 R, they really can ride at the limits of their abilities and stay totally relaxed too. The benefits are obvious in terms of less physical and mental stress, faster and safer motorcycling and the ability to remain fully concentrated for far longer, factors that contribute to success on the racetrack and safety on the road.

Aprilia Reportedly Developing 250cc Sportbike

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

For a company with such a rich history in motorcycle racing including nine World Championships in the 250cc Grand Prix category, it comes as a bit of a surprise Aprilia does not already have a 250cc sportbike in production. From 1994 to 2007, Aprilia won nine 250cc Grand Prix championships with an impressive roster of riders which includes Valentino Rossi, Max Biaggi, Jorge Lorenzo, Loris Capirossi and Marco Melandri winning titles. Despite making a name for itself racing in the 250cc class, Aprilia does not have a 250cc production sportbike to compete against the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 250 (and its replacement, the Ninja 300) or the Honda CBR250R.

Aprilia unveils RSV4 R FW-GP sportbike with technical solutions from the world of MotoGP

Wed, 07 Dec 2016

On the New Year’s Eve, the company from Noale announced the launch of a new customer program for its racing division and removed the cover from four different variants of the RSV4 “sport liter” at once. At the same time, if the first three, in fact, are machines “cut down” to meet the technical regulations of the competition (two superstocks with different degrees of “roasting” RSV4 R FW-SSTK1 and RSV4 R FW-SSTK2, as well as a superbike RSV4 R-FW SBK), then the fourth , RSV4 R FW-GP, is something special. The new Aprilia is actually created on the basis of a road bike, with an implanted engine from the RS-GP 15 grand prix car.
