2021 Aprilia RS660 First Ride Review - Video

Fri, 13 Nov 2020

Thoughts on Aprilia's newest platform, now in video form Videos by Kurt Wallrath, Sean Matic Without a doubt, the 2021 Aprilia RS660 was the motorcycle I most anticipated riding this year, thanks in no small part because I first saw the bike in person over a year ago and salivated over the chance to ride it ever since. No, it’s not a Ducati Superleggera or Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, but between the three, this is probably the motorcycle I’d actually own. Why?

Used Review: Gaerne G-ike boots

Fri, 01 Jan 2010

This is Gaerne’s entry-level boot and I’ve been wearing it mainly as a commuting tool over the last year and a half. It’s a good-looking boot that looks like a trainer under jeans and is as comfortable as one too.  The G-Ike has plenty of support in the heel from a steel plate in the sole and plenty of thick plastic around the ankle.  I know for a fact having come off an Aprilia Shiver in these that they provide a fair amount of protection though not enough to stop me twisting an ankle. But they’ve held up really well and I’m still happy wearing them though not for winter as they’re far from waterproof and a tad drafty for sub-zero days.

2021 Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125 First Look

Tue, 04 May 2021

Beginner bikes for Europe's A1 license tier, not likely to come to US Aprilia has updated its RS 125 and Tuono 125 for 2021, making them Euro 5-complaint and tweaking the styling of the entry-level street bikes to resemble their respective 660 models. The two 125 models are designed to serve beginners with Europe’s A1 license, which unfortunately also means they are unlikely to be imported to the U.S. To meet Euro 5, the 124.2cc liquid-cooled four-valve DOHC Single has been revamped with a new cylinder head that uses new intake and exhaust ducts, a new iridium spark plug and a reshaped combustion chamber.
