Rare Candy Sapphire Blue

1970 Honda ST70 DAX

 Trail 70

Hello and thanks for your interest in my 1970 Honda ST70 "DAX" model. This bike is of the rarest of the CT70s because they were the "EXPORT" model which means it came with blinkers, a center stand, a detachable front end, street tires, a 3 speed transmission with an automatic clutch. This model has a shift pattern of 1 up and 2 down.  This bike had only 2269 original miles on it. The speedometer has been restored and set at back to zero during restoration. The bike now only has 1 or 2 miles of test riding on it. This bike has a clean California tittle in my name. No expense was spared as you can see. The bike was in good condition to start but I am somewhat of a perfectionist and I like my things to be nice. This bike starts on the first kick, runs and shifts great. This bike looks fabulous and is definitely a crowd pleaser! So read on and happy bidding. :)

Voluntary Recall for Continental ContiMotion Sport-Touring Tires

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Continental Tire announced a voluntary recall campaign for certain ContiMotion sport-touring tires. According to Continental, market feedback has shown some tires may experience uneven wear from the 180/60R16 74H ContiMotion rear tires. Tires may develop groove cracking and, in some cases, belt lift, conditions which can lead to a loss of tire inflation pressure and a potential for loss of control.
