Harley-Davidson Touring description

I bought new in 2014 and have taken great care of this machine. Always garage kept and usually also covered for dust. Bike does have almost 7,200 miles on it but is really in excellent condition and has been meticulously serviced. Saving thousands over the cost of a new bike plus with essential upgrades already complete you cannot go wrong. I am very hesitant to sell but have realized my camper has now taken over my summers and sadly I just don't have time to ride. I bought new vs used back in 2014 because of the drastic improvements made in 2014 with the street glide special and no significant changes have been made to the 2016 (if any). Don't hesitate to ask questions or view the bike. It goes without saying has never been dropped or in any sort of accident whatsoever. Easy for viewing at my home in Martinsburg close to I-81 and route 11. Bike has lean at local credit union in Martinsburg WV but are very easy to work with to get title for new owner.

Additional essential $$ (either side of $3000.00) I put in to make it great:
• Vance & Hines Power Duals and mufflers, Roland Sands Turbine Air Cleaner, and Fuel Moto Tuner
• HD 4 Point Docking Hardware Kit (Detachable mounting system)
• HD Detachable back rest mount and pad
• HD Detachable black luggage rack (Black)
• HD all weather cover
• Battery Maintainer
• 4.5" HD Wind-splitter Windshield (Almost as small as stock but greatly reduces wind for both rider and passenger.)
• HD Willie G. Skull grips and grip caps
• HD Willie G. Skull license plate bolts

Factory options included in the "Special" package:
• ABS interactive / linked anti-lock brake system
• Boom Audio / Bluetooth / Navigation (this nav system is incredible and the Bluetooth features work well, super easy to use, delivering audio and controls from you smart phone)
• Low-Profile Premium Ride Hand-Adjustable Touring Shocks (vs. unsatisfying air shocks on the standard models)
All stock items included

Remember a stage 1 upgrade (exhaust/air cleaner/tuner) is essential on the HD 103CI motor. Not only does the upgrade greatly reduce heat to keep the rider and the engine cooler, the increase in power over stock with this set up is incredible. It really wakes up the hidden performance on all levels (espically with V&H Power Duals) and speeds to what feels like an unbelievable improvement.

ACCEL Stealth Supercoils Now Available For Harley-Davidson Sportsters

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

ACCEL today announced the company’s popular motorcycle Stealth SuperCoils will now be available to owners of 2007-2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters.  First introduced in late-2013 for Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam engines, ACCEL’s Stealth SuperCoils provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response, while hiding all ignition wiring in the head of the self-contained coil pack; eliminating the need for spark plug wires and creating a clean, custom look. In addition to the flat black and natural aluminum finishes, the Sportster Stealth SuperCoils are offered in flat black with polished aluminum edges. Each SuperCoil mounts directly to the spark plug and features a cross-functional cast aluminum cover that also acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
