Real good bike that runs strong and pulls through all gears. recent upgrades include new front brake pads, rebuilt calipers, front fork rebuild, carb rebuild, new throttle/idle cables, new foot pegs, both forward and mid controls, leather saddle bags and pouch, new grips. added speedo and tach gauges to handlebar risers. all new fluids ready to ride. tires are in great shape with lots of tread. I bought this bike as a keeper due to the fact that FXR's are hard to come by but need to sell as I have too many projects now. 2014 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob Receives Dark Custom Makeover
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The Harley-Davidson Fat Bob is returning for 2014 with a new blacked-out look as the latest model to get H-D’s Dark Custom look. The new, darker Fat Bob features a number of blacked-out components including the powertrain and air cleaner cover, rear shock covers, triple clamps, headlight trim, console and battery box cover. The machined aluminum slotted disc wheels have also been received a black powdercoated finish as well as a laser-ingraved Harley-Davidson logo and rim stripe.

It's allegedly one of the most sought-after Harleys and has buyers from around the world itching to splash out on it. Not literally, you'd hope.

The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.
