1976 Harley Davidson FLH. Completely rebuilt starting with the OEM Harley Shovelhead frame. Hardtailed by Jeff Cochran. Jeff did all the fab work on this bike. From the hardtail to the mounting of the pipes. The motor is an 80ci Shovelhead. S&S cases Harley rods and wheels. Harley cylinders bored .040 over. Harley heads, bead blasted and cleaned up. Chrome rocker boxes with custom brass rocker nuts and OLD-STF oil lines, Andrews A grind cam. Hydraulic lifters Mallory ignition with a hot blue streak coil. Motor was completely rebuilt by D&C Cycles here in St. Louis and now has 50 miles on it. (Fifty miles) OEM Harley ratchet top transmission that was pulled a part and the case bead blasted and put back together with Andrews gear set. Also done by D&C cycles. Polished side cover with custom turned brass fill plug BDL belt drive for Shovelhead with electric start. Black forward controls with custom turned brass/aluminum pegs narrow 41mm front end with 21 inch, 40 spoke wheel, Z bars, Biltwell grips and GMA master cylinder the runs back to a set of black Wilwood calipers set up on a stainless Speedking "Rush hour" racing brake. With an 18 inch rear wheel, Pirelli scorpion, and RWD custom shorty fender with polished stainless struts. Everything on this bike is new and top notch. Speedking oil tank and Big Rig jockey shift , glass door knob shifter and matched. Brass oil cap and custom flaked gold and root beer paint job by Steve Lalumondiere. This bike is new inside and out. 50 miles on it. The oil was just changed and everything rechecked and tightened. It's ready to go. This can be changed over to hand clutch/foot shift for the new owner. It is a kick AND electric bike. Contact me with any questions you may have and watch my auctions. Harley-Davidson Museum’s Custom Bike Show Weekend on Labor Day
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Labor Day weekend 2014, the place for Harley-Davidson fans to be is at the Harley-Davidson Museum. Starting Thursday, August 28 at 5:00 PM, the biggest bike night of the riding season kicks off the event-filled weekend. The holiday gathering will also include two custom bike shows, a women’s ride, displays of the 2015 Harley-Davidson Models, and the last chance to see the H-D Museum’s summer show entitled The American Road.
Japanese Bike Shop Giving Away Harley-Davidson with Life-Sized Anime Character
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Japanese shop Bike-O is holding a draw with a rather unique grand prize: a used 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a life-sized figure of anime character Fujiko Mine from the long-running anime and manga series “Lupin III“. We’re not sure whether the motorcycle or the statue is supposed to be the bigger prize here, to be honest. Obviously, we’d rather have an actual road-worthy Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a custom “champagne pink” paint job.
Zero Enters South American Market
Wed, 28 Sep 2011Zero Motorcycles has signed a distribution deal with the Brazilian dealer network Grupo Izzo, bringing its electric motorcycles to first Brazil, and soon across South America. Brazil is one of the world’s fastest growing markets for motorcycles, a market Zero hopes to tap with its new distribution deal. Grupo Izzo is based mainly in Brazil with 11 locations, but has plans to expand into other South American countries.
